they're cute and he did a good job, but for me, they look a little -too- modern for my tastes. If i was gonna go all the way to japan with the idea to stay in a home like this, it's a little too modern.

Basically their $155/Night with a 3 night minimum. That's not that bad compared to a hotel. Considering you get some good amenities. I'm still doing research though for my trip that I hope to be doing next year.

Chill your boots man, no need to be abusive. I disliked it because I wouldn't personally want to stay in a Ryokan that put a western style bed or sofa in a tatami mat room. Not only would the legs ruin the floor but it's completely untraditional.

Very cool! Pricing is a bit vague though. On their website, clicking the IHO-AN section lists the prices per day and per week for the IHO-AN house. The other houses have no prices listed. Should we assume prices remain the same?
