The only problem with this game is the A.I....IT'S USELESS! Once, the A.I. got stuck and shot at nothing in particular, despite there being no enemies. I couldn't even kill them because they ran away when I threw a bomb!

@HiroTheJapeneseTrain so you want a melee oriented Call of Duty...in WW1 you only shoot at great distances with the rifle because the reload takes nearly 30 seconds or even more.

call of duty 9 should be set in ww1 think about it instead of a chopper gunner you would get a biplane gunner or a blimp gunner and instead of an rc xd you would get a smart ass lion or cheetah (optional) that would be able to climb or jump to get to enemy's trying to hide in high places and you'll get to use weapons never seen in a first person shooter like the cei rigotti,mp 18,Benet-Mercie,mon dragon and other rifles<machineguns,tanks and armoured cars from that period .

This game is short only if you play it in regular or easy, on veteran it can take 3 hours to finish a mission that is 15 min on regular. For the money this game offers a lot both online and offline

A WW1 CoD would work. I've written to both IW and Treyarch about it. Most people object that: (1) The weapons are boring; and (2) It's just trench warfare. Neither is true, and CoD has never stuck strictly to history. Do some history research. There were plenty of SMGs, LMGs, HMGs, and semi-auto rifles. And there was mobile warfare on beaches, in forests, in mountains, in urban settings and on open plains. Amazing killstreaks: Gas, zeppelins, strafing fighter planes, cavalry, railway guns.
