do the scents of the grumpy buttahs stay on your skin very long? i know you said the scent of the sugar scrubs last all day, but what about the buttahs...?

Im sorry, i haven't used the buttahs in so long, I don't really remember. I do know the body sprays last on me like 14+ hours. I spray them on like 5pm, before I go to work & it's like 9am the next day & I still can smell them on my skin (I work over night shifts). I think some scents last a little longer than others, but I am very pleased with them so far ;)

I think if I had to choose I'd go with GGC over LUSH. I like the products better & the fragrances are way better. I prefer the GGC fragrance options & you can pick any product you want in any scent you prefer. LUSH doesn't give you that freedom. Unless they changed the way they make stuff. It sucks when you love 1 scent but can't get it as a perfume or a body butter cuz it's only made as soap, ya know? ;) I like to be able to mix & match everything.

Tiny Cat has a confetti clubhouse! I stopped buying my cats toys. I just give them all the junk mail to shred and fight over and anytime I get a box or paper bag, I let them have it for a couple of days. Happy cats, happy cats.

LOL Yeah - you can spend $100's on cat toys & kitty condos & they will never use any of it. Toss them the used paper grocery sack or an empty cardboard box & they are happy as pigs in shit for a week! hehehe =)

I work at a crude oil refinery! Not very glamorous! But it pays very well hehe Of course, you have to give up having anything that resembles a life since they force you to work like 60-80hrs every week. I just finished doing an 8day stretch of 12 hour shifts - blah!

It sucks sometimes, but what can you do? =)

Life is too short to get overly upset about messy stuff like that ;) I ignore it for a few days & then sweep it up & into the trash ;) Tiny Cat is loving it in the meantime. hehe

i got the stick of buttah in voluptous vanilla vixen. my absolute favorite. think i am gonna order soap regular lotion and body spray in that scent. like bloomin idiot and booty call also. tx for sharing with us. i am in love with this company!!!!

it is a smooth creamy solid but after you put it on in soaks in just like a lotion. i like it because i can put it in my purse and i tend to use it as a perfume. the scent is a pure vanilla scent. i put just a bit on and everyone smells it and after even sweating i can still smell it at the end of the day. i think this is my favorite scent and possibly my favorite product. i will probably order the candle or melts in this scent too. i have the stick of buttah in vanilla.

I've recently become slightly in love with Lush and this all sounds/looks better. I'm actually not terribly impressed by a lot of the Lush scents. I only have like 5 favorites.

I was seriously NOT impressed by much of anything from LUSH. It's very over-rated. (Um, like MAC is!)

I am a total bath & body product geek - so I was excited to try all these Grumpy Girl things. So far I am loving every single product I have!! Seriously, i have not a single negative thing to say about any of it!

I agree. Again I only really like 5 scents from there as far as soaps go.

I haven't tried anything else. Though it doesn't help having a bathtub big enough to barely fit your hips into.

I'm curious about the bubble bars. I like the idea of bubble baths. haha.

Besides the soap though and the bubble bars nothing else really intrigues me.

And I think they're WAYY over priced. It's not like they just started out. They're a successful chain now.

8 bucks for a bar of soap that barely lasts a month? =(

My LUSH soaps barely last me 1 week per bar! So, that's just ridiculous. LOL Maybe I use too much soap ;)

I did like their bubble bars & the buttercremes, but it's so expensive & you don't get many uses out of them. Some people use a bath bomb, a bath melt & a bubble bar in ONE tub - and that's like $20 for one bath. Yeah, I'll pass. I'm not that rich! LOL =)

Awe no! Well right now I have..5 soaps. And I use all 5 of them each time I shower. Or rotate them or whatever. But if I only used one bar at a time they would last only a week.

The porridge one and rock star (2 of the few I like) melt WAYY too fast. >=\

I'm like scared to hold them under my water too long. ha.

That's a lot of junk for one bath. =(

How do the Grumpy Girl soaps compare in how long they last?

My only issue with ordering scents online is y'know. I can't smell before I buy. =(

ARGH. I hate character limit counts. Sorry. I ramble too much.

But I also wanted to add about smells and not being able to smell before I buy.

For example. Lush describes a lot of their scents to be these AMAZING delicious can't live without smells and then when I got into the store to smell the stuff I was like. The hell?

I often disagree with the descriptions they give.

I hate when stuff smells nothing like it's described.

I think most of GG descriptions are quite accurate for the fragrance. I have not been disappointed or surprised with anything yet.

I put 2 bars of soap in the shower May 3rd. One will last 2-3 more showers, the 2nd is just slightly smaller than when i started it. So I'll say about 2 weeks for a bar - maybe a little longer. I just leave my soaps in the shower all the time, so I dunno if that makes them "melt" faster or not.

Yeah, this fragrance might just be my favorite!

She describes it as "This delightful and gorgeous fruity-floral fragrance combines sweet notes of Bartlett Pear, Apricot, White Peach, Plum Blossom, with fresh notes of Mimosa and Spring Air."

It's just divine! Very different from most scents I think - but Mmmmm! LOL
