Sunday Gravy is the best dish in the world. Beautiful, beautiful they're great. Now, didn't I tell you he was paranoid? huh? you wanna see helicopters?
@dunkinconstruction That's right Dunkin... "Sunday Gravy" is thee best dish on Earth. Love the Goodfella's reference. "Ill show you Helicopters" !!!!!!!!!!
I didn't learn much about the secret of Bazzy's Sunday Gravy but what I heard was the message of love that goes into the cooking. I especially loved the pictures of your uncle and the Bellino grandparents and the respect for the tradition passed down through the simple act of breaking bread together as a family. You are a lucky family and this is a beautiful glimpse you have shared with us.
Thanks for the "kind words" Slatts. "Yes, Love in our Cooking and sharing wonderful Italian Food together at the table." Glad you liked the old pictures of my Grandparents. The old one of "Uncle Frank" is when he was in the Marines during World War II. My mother and my Uncle Tony are in the picture with my grandparents. Uncle Tony was also in World War II, he was in charge of the "Officers Club" at the George V Hotel in PARIS after the city was Liberated by the Allied Forces.

I caramelize my meatballs when I fry them in olive oil with the garlic removed and not burned! My meatballs are made with beef pork and veal and sausage as well!
WAAAAAHOOO! Great video. We love to eat too. I'm an Italian and I married a South Carolina fried chicken cooking man. Together we make the best meals!
Yes we are Sicilian, and proud of it. Our family is from "Lacara Freddi" which is about 45 minuts South of Palermo and is the town that "Lucky Luciano" and the Sinatra Family are from. Daniele in NYC
