  • hey dave :D, is thickened cream the same as heavy cream?

  • @TheJaask98 "Thickened Cream" in Australia is a thick cream with a small amount of gelatin added during production to maintain thickness and to aid in whipping. Heavy Cream will work just as well ;)

  • Hi, just wanted to ask, what brand of chocolate did you use for this recipe?

  • @TheGurlfriend1234 I don't remember which brand I used, but any brand of "eating" chocolate will be fine ;)

  • @TheGurlfriend1234 It is coles brand. Well if you live in austrlia you can get it

  • OMG looks so good!

  • I am going to try it this week. I usually use the butter milk and sugar nestle chocolate baking chips and flour and eggs.

  • !!!!! O.O !!!!!! I want!!!!!!!!!

  • I'll have a slice of that!

  • When he replies to you he winks..... O.o

  • where did u get the frozen pastry crust? i live in aus too so where did u get it?

  • @mishimonster I got it from the freezer section at Coles. Near the puff pastry etc ;)

  • I really

  • It's called heavy cream, you stud!!!!!

  • @TheHellequinne Im just wondering, mostly just because i have no idea what the difference is, but what is the difference? and can u use regular cream or? :P

  • @TheHellequinne Here in Australia, it's called Thickened Cream ;)

  • That looks excellent!! Can't wait to try it out!!

  • Wow you have beautiful eyes lol

    Nice pie too!

  • Could you convert to Fahrenheit and cups and tbsps please?

  • @nemoryer There is a link on my channel page to a measurement conversion website that will help you out ;)

  • @OnePotChefShow Sorry, I do not see conversion for 300 grams of chocolate (?) Thanks anyway.

  • @OnePotChefShow PS - This is the best recipe EVER! What is your favorite chocolate? Dark or Semi-Sweet? BTW, you need 1-1/2 cups of chips to the 2/3 whipping cream. LOVELY RECIPE. LOVE IT. Thank you.

  • your awesome! thanks for recipes

  • WTF? NO TOP COMMENT? Oh... well here we go... penis

  • @TomasCimma WOW, haven't heard that before

  • The cake is a lie!

  • @youcefdar I think you mean...The cake is a PIE. xD

  • God, I would eat EVERYTHING that is shown in this channel :P

  • I'm actually eating a chocolate pie right now ;)

It always sucks when you watch a recipe video to a good dish when you're hungry.

  • Also do u use only one pot XD

  • Co za asy

  • why did it say echo few protons on the fridge?

  • @graphicfart It's an anagram ;)

  • @graphicfart

It's just One Pot Chef Show switched up into "Echo Few Photons" if you can even make that a sentence.(Simpler way to say anagram)

  • YUM! DELICIOUS!

  • heads up people..... not a good idea to watch this video while on a diet... ;(

  • would this be considered a custard?

  • @SunnyLove120 Actually, it's more of a ganache ;)

  • lawl 3:18 yum :)

  • im in love with ur accent!

  • tried this!

    loved this!

definitely gonna try this again! :D

its sooooo easy to put together . . .

    thanks ! :)

  • man, this is brutal (in a positive way)...

  • you have the most amazing eyes ever....

  • i got and easy verision buy pudding prepare it with 1 cup place it in the crust that it

  • Did you buy the pie crust from Woolworths or Coles?

  • You have pretty eyes.

  • mmm. Chocolate.

  • Am I the only one who saw a smiling face of the pie made with the chocolate flakes?

  • When you started to taste it i were litterally

Yelling "noooo what are you doing, fuuuu im hungry ffs"

  • my mouth is literally watering!!! :O :O ^_^

  • Hmm, interesting. I never thought of using ganache for a chocolate pie filling. I've always done a rich (very dark) from scratch cocoa pudding recipe for my filling. This is definitely easier.

  • @gmaureen I hope you enjoy it - it's simple and delicious :)

  • How rich is the chocolate flavour in this one? My father isn't a big fan of too much chocolate, or plain chocolate(i know, what a moron!). Is the cream enough to smoothen the flavour?

  • @Ffojt Try using milk chocolate instead of dark chocolate.

  • @Ffojt It has a fairly strong chocolate flavour, but using milk chocolate might help to tone it down a bit ;)

  • Wow! This recipe is a keeper, my husband loves Chocolate pie and I found a recipe one time to make for the holidays, but leave it to me, I didn't boil the chocolate long enough or something and the pie never set, no matter how long I kept it in the fridge. I'm trying this one though. Looks so good and easy!

  • i could get diabetes from just WATCHING your videos :)))

  • "Who's ready for a food-porn moment?" - XD LOVE IT! <3

  • Food Porn! I smell Nicko :D

  • I love how he says "I'm the one pot chef" in every video c:

  • Try again... Increased ratio to 300mL cream + 500gm choc! Perfect amount for 1 normal

  • Dave, just made this again for the 5th time, did a full pie + 10 individual mini ones, increased ration

  • Awesome! Never thought to make chocolate pie for parties! Super easy and not time consuming! I usually get requests for my triple chocolate mousse cakes (which take HOURS to make), but I'm definitely gonna make this next time! Thanks for uploading!

Also, for anyone still wondering about the 'cream'... Here in Canada, we just call it whipping cream, but more specifically, the cream carton will say "35% cream: whipping" or "35% cream: traditional". I just use the 'whipping' kind for desserts!

  • Your eyes are amazing.

  • i fucking love your eyes XD

  • Wow, this may literally be the most unhealthy thing I've ever seen.

    ....Delicious.

  • Sounds like Nicko right at the end where you say yam-o and tasting the pie.

  • what cream, do you know the "name" in swedish

  • @perixanfin I don't know the Swedish name, but you can use any cream that is suitable for whipping ;)

  • @perixanfin förtjockad grädde

  • @ornitorrinco01 kan man ha vaniljsås??? sök på google om du inte vet vilken det är ;)

  • @perixanfin No I would not think that vanilla custard (vaniljsås) would be suitable at all. I am sure you can buy good quality thickend cream in most supermarkets in Sweden, it is basically cream with about 35% fat content so that you can beat it (whip it) with a wisk or electric mixer until it becomes thicker.

  • @ornitorrinco01 ok thanx =)

  • @perixanfin vispgrädde:D

Nice att man inte är ensam svensk

  • @joar93 ja eller hur, är det ngn speciell grädde, typ hur mycket procent fett-grejj ska det vara???

    P.S var i sverige bor du?? =p

  • @perixanfin Ne det han har är vispgrädde men dom har gjort den tjockare bara, Så köp ingen matlagningsgrädde eller så,

    Bor i Göteborg

  • @perixanfin Kremfløte på norsk =)

  • @perixanfin fløte(norwegian) grädd(?)

  • @perixanfin det som heter fløte på norsk :):)

  • @idaidaidaida1 men hur mkt procent fett ee det i gredden

  • @perixanfin 38 gram fett, denne "boksen" inneholder 1/3 liter fløte :)

  • DUDE UR EYES

  • hey think like white chocolate as filling and then milk chocolate flake (twirl) crushed up so cute

  • omg! it's this easy!!!! ahhhh love u!

  • can you make the pie crust

  • I made this pie few hours ago and at the moment my mother who was supposed to be on a diet is trying to kill me because of it.

  • @wesik06 Sounds like you got it right :)

  • I watched like 10 or more videos of you making only these sweets... I know i wont ever try them any time soon because i dunno... im 2 scared to mess up and the i still dont get the measurements here (European) :D

  • @uteliux It's only a chocolate pie. Even if you mess up, you can eat it and try again.

  • omg youre scary!!

  • Look so good, I'm going to a make a mini pie with my recipe adjuster. It will look so cute, taste delicious (I hope) and have much fewer calories.

  • Looks like you used more than 2/3 cups of cream. Tried this today and when i put my chocolate in it was like 2:1 o-o Still worked though :)

  • Just tryed this! Waiting for it to cool ;)

  • mmmMmmm this made me hungryyy

  • thats so yummmy :) but you said you are using cream.. what kind of cream is that? ;) is that like whipping cream or can i use another cream?

  • @Patmcway I used Thickened Cream, (normal whipping cream) ;)

  • I tried this but it became a disaster I think it's because of the cream I used I used double cream but yours is much more thick whereas mine is more liquid!

  • OMFG I would pay you 1000$ to have 2 of those right now instead of my belly!

  • oh tnx so much

  • Hi Ya! I just made this tonight and its really good. I used the 2/3 cup cream but realized on the bag of chocolate chips was 326 grams so the chocolate mixture was alittle thicker. I also used a gram crust and sliced bananas on top and spread whipped cream on top of that. I have picturesto send you... Yummmmmm.. thought you might like to try it that way too :) enjoy

  • @evilwoman24 Wow sounds awesome. You can add the pics to my Facebook page if you want to share them with everyone. facebook(dot)com / onepotchef ;)

  • @OnePotChefShow ok cool.Ill head over to facebook now... i just finished eating some too....lol :)

  • @OnePotChefShow

You should do some TV shows with the cook Barefoot Contessa.

  • @evilwoman24 Sounds Amazing!

  • hey how are you, i was just wondering what program did you use to do all your intros

  • @Liamcardtricks You don't need to ask the same question over and over ;)

  • is short crust pastry and the pie crust ingredients the same

  • @JuicyCoutureMinaj Yes - they are identical ;)

  • what kind of chocolate did you use here? semi sweet choc? coz i'm wondering if it would need any sugar or not...

  • @sentfromupabove I used semi-sweet melting chocolate. It's fairly sweet already, so you don't need to add any additional sugar ;)

  • i have to make this its so easy :L

  • @OnePotChefShow If you made it without chocolate would it taste good as a vanilla pie thingy?

  • I used this exact recipe for Xmas and it was delicious! thanx!!

  • Actually, since it's just chocolate and cream, as deserts go, this is really healthy for you.

  • Food porn moment

  • 3:05 heaven!

  • OMG I WANT THAT PIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD i would give up everything to have a life time supply of that mmmmm....

  • I wonder why you wanted to make this :o-<O< Cause ts epic!

  • Hi,

  • @Flutterinq I use iMovie 09 for all my videos ;)

  • Diabetes never looked and tasted so good

  • FICKEN cream xD

  • This is like, Porn for my eyes O.O

  • Gnosh. The chocolate filling is called Gnosh. Ganesh is a Hindu elephant god.

  • @ArgoSG I said "ganache" - which is the correct name for it ;)

  • @OnePotChefShow Some peoples kids eh? Keep up the awesome work chef. Merry Christmas!

  • Comment removed

  • @OnePotChefShow You have spelled it correctly, I merely wrote it that way for the pronunciation. You were pronouncing it Ganesh(Hindu Elephant God).

  • @ArgoSG are you retarded?

  • @ArgoSG Don't get out much eh?

  • @Makron5 In America its heavy whipping cream
