Now that brings back memories...Delivered on S. Boston twice a week from NE Miss pulling a 48' trlr. Did 4,500 miles/week solo @.23 cents a mile. Was there when the 1st bombing of the WT took place and also in the blizzard of '93. Always got a backload from Saddlebrook, NJ and slept behind the round Holiday Inn there the rare moments that I actually got in the sleeper. Drove Ford LTL9000/60" sleeper, kept 6 logbooks. It was harder to cook the logs than drive. Ahh.. the good old days.
