Armoured infantry move forward in their vehicles with the tanks and dismount on foot for the final assault. Mechanized Infantry use their vehicles to move around, but due to the light armour of their vehicles, advance and assault as standard infantry.
light role dont go around in tanks. Who told you that? They use either light vehicles like the Jackal or they go on foot.
Then there is air assault infantry that come in from the air
Mech - some protection and firepower. Transported around in vehicles, dismount before contact and fight as light role infantry.Just with more mobility out of contact. Vehicles could be wheeled or tracked.
Armd - far better protection and firepower. The idea is for the vehicle to go fully into the attack to debus closer and to give Fire power. Vehicles are almost always tracked.

Armoured infantry move forward in their vehicles with the tanks and dismount on foot for the final assault. Mechanized Infantry use their vehicles to move around, but due to the light armour of their vehicles, advance and assault as standard infantry.
light role dont go around in tanks. Who told you that? They use either light vehicles like the Jackal or they go on foot.
Then there is air assault infantry that come in from the air

Mech - some protection and firepower. Transported around in vehicles, dismount before contact and fight as light role infantry.Just with more mobility out of contact. Vehicles could be wheeled or tracked.
Armd - far better protection and firepower. The idea is for the vehicle to go fully into the attack to debus closer and to give Fire power. Vehicles are almost always tracked.

The last and only time "America saved our asses" they were 3 years fucking late and only joined when they got attacked, not to mention they had to drop 2 nukes on Japan.
For every 10 German soldiers killed, 9 were by a Russian soldier, looking at facts rather then war films made by Americans will give you a better education of the actual history.

Please stop being so disrespectful to the people who fought in WW2 by going and arguing that Britain is crap.
Britain was almost fighting alone for years, calling the soldiers incompetent and cowardly is rude on so many levels. They fought and died to stop Fascism, the least you can do is not insult them, after all, if Churchill decided to not go to war, Russia wouldn't have been attacked and the Axis would almost certainly won the war.

@liamuk08 And yes britain was saved by u.s.a, read up on it. churchill's number one plan was to get U.S involved in the war because they were about to be defeated if U.S didn't join. U.S in reality wanted to join the war as they were choking japanese supply lines to germany for a long time, awaiting a decleration of war.
