@Lysdexi You can use a full squad for a house/building clearing op if you know they layout. Lets say you are entering the front door and you know that immediately to the right inside the door is another room. You send Alpha team in and they flow right into that room while Bravo sets up security or moves on to other rooms that are connected to the main room. Its all mission specific. I just graduated Army Infantry OSUT and my platoon had some really great Drill Sergeants.

We are all advocates for the military, but sometimes we want more than textbooks, documentaries, and spoken tales to satisfy our interest. We are proudly serving behind the lines in our own country. Through Airsoft we can at least have a fleeting experience of that our servicemen do.
To become an officer I had to pass a strenuos PT program and test and I did because they gave me a chance unlike the Army, but anyway don't hate on us because what we do, it's not to mock your service, but honor it thats why scenarios are based on actual battles most of the time.
So pick up a gun and come join the fun, your skills and training are always appreciated on the field, but if not then chill out and don't talk about are hobbies or what not.

Unless you have real training, airsoft dosen't simulate anything. Two groups of unskilled people going at each other is no more of a battle than a school yard fight is a boxing match.Now If you got REAL training, and then applied that training to airsoft...;)
i have read the army's 7th enlisted soldier's guide,i have study books of strategies such as attrition, guerilla warfare,counterinsurgency ect. plus i do try to make it as close as possible to the real thing from what i see on TV as possible, but thats about it
Black Sierra is comprised of Mainly Military Men who have done Tours in Iraq. They are not a team but a Training Aid to Teach the "Unskilled people" To be skilled and to keep those who are in the military and police agencies in top Condition and skill.

And I've met people in the military and people who play airsoft, and there are airsofters who do it better than actual soldiers.
There are a few differences with airsoft and real steel, but in CQB events, I don't really see that much if you're using SMG AEGs.
