because the bird's claws, even when trimmed, are still sharp and can hurt when he is holding on to your hand, even though a moluccan wil seldom hurt its owner (if your someone else in the house he might bite u and that beak is huge!!!)

@jengel53221 In most cases there claws are really sharp unless they are trimmed, but the glove might be for something else if it not that.

What a great cockatoo! How old is he? My guy, Valentine is 12...have had him since he was 6 months old.
