  • nice song and nice dance

  • Comment removed

  • jothika was better

  • who said she cant dance? she danced osam

  • MG Sreekumar ....hmmm....gud job

  • Shiney Ahuja, the rapist.

  • why does vidya balan look so scary !!!??

  • M G SREEKUMAR DID AN EXCELLENT JOB

  • This song is amazing, and I love the expression she shoots the camera at 0:57. Personally, I think all the versions of this dance are really good, except for Chandramukhi. And that's not because the actress wasn't a good dancer, it's because that version of Nagavallhi scared me. Movie wise, I haven't seen any of them yet, so I'm not passing judgement.

  • this guy is an amazing dancer...dancer better than vidya...awesome..... atleast some guy can do something else other than this stupid boneless western dancing

  • @garizable the 'guy' Vineet is a Classical Dancer...that shows!

  • awsome.song

  • I am a keralite.I like this song better than the original Malayalam song(only the song, not the performances in the song)...but malayalam movie is far far far better than all other versions. The way shobhana acted was so outstanding...This hindi version can never be compared with the original version.Priyadarshan,a keralite remade this!!Such poor remakes, gives a negative impression of original version in other states....Priyadarshan,u have done injustice to the excellent original version......

  • malayalam version is d best.. hats off 2 shobana mam ....

  • i like it

  • This movie is about the gosts

  • nice song...vidya u did great job...but.if compare to shobana...shobhana did well., i saw the movie malayalam version....real natural movie...and shobhana and other crew is acted well.....i heard she got national award for best actress......i saw all versions of this movie......and this is the best..OLD IS GOLD

  • this one is the best version

  • the guy dances "gayly" lol

  • @Kaarishma11 presumably you meant 'gayly' as in happily

  • I wish we could see her feet, this has to be the most amazing dance EVER :)

  • shobhana s th best, n malayalam version s the best amoung these

  • the malayalam version Manichitrathazhu (Oru Murai Vanthu) has been claimed by eros and no longer available!!

    search Manichitrathazhu-Oru Murai Vanthu-Shobana

  • the male dancer is the same dancer in the tamil remake CHANDRAMUKHI.

  • me encanta

  • There is also a Bangali version of the movie named "Rajmohol" Plz find this song for that version also, if you know what I mean!!!!

  • no one can beat shobana

  • Plz again try to make this bhulbhulaiya part 2

  • Shobhana madam is a legendary Classical Danseuse. She is has been dancing since she can remeber. That talent CANNOT be beaten by Vidya Balan or Jyothika with even months of practice. And male dancer is Vineeth who is also a very talented Classical Dancer and it shows. When Manichitrathazhu was released in malayalam he was still a kid so he didn't get a chance in that movie :-)

  • CAUTION :pls everyone don't watch the tamil version, u might urself become like this!

  • she's good but can never beat shobana !!!!!

  • OMG! her face @ 2:53 :O

  • I LUV THIZ SONG SOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!! <3

  • ... Even though many remakes of malayalam film: MANICHITRATHAZHU.. has been released. No actors could ever reach to point where SHOBANA madam has achieved. She was not acting, but was virtually living as immortal character called "NAGAVALLHI"..

  • I love this song. This is probably one of the best classical style film song and dance piece. I wonder why they changed it to hindi from bengali?

  • @rabbit8343 yeah she scares me alot in this moive too

  • @neha229 She looks beautifully psychotic. Great acting!

  • The tread of the film from malayalam film "Manichitrathazhu" 1993, and re-make to all indian language, tamil telugu,Kannada, now Hindi, Shobana whose acted in malayalm , she got best actress award of India, that year, shobhana acted very well than any acatress who acted same role in all re make films, also Vineed not much performance than Srider The actor wth Shobana the first film, now also I wonder , in this song, Vidyaban,Vineed, Priyadarsan , all from Kerala.

  • this lady scares me alot in this movie LOL

  • Vineeth, OMG, can't stop watching him dance. Prefer the hindi song, but out of all of the versions, Shobana takes the cup for the women. This version is slow and dreamy, you can see the love and admiration. While the Malayalam version, it's more technical and fast paced. Still beautiful.

  • it is not suppose to be scary it is a thriller not a horror movie...she is suppose to look mentally ill.....just saying...!!!

  • Please tell me how to download this

  • Agreed with rahul.... Jyothika's dance wasnt the best compared to other dancers but her acting was superb... her facial expression and her acting was way beyond the others. I personally feel that Jyothika has the complete package...

  • Men will drive you crazy that's is for sure... I love the fantasy dance scene. Absolutely spectacular!

  • i hope no one makes fun cuz im asking.... but what style dance is this...odissi?

  • Good acting by Vidhya Balan.. But she's too cute to scare anyone.. She's just looking like a cute lady who's innocent and who never knows to even shout at people.. But a nice attempt..

Shobana and Jyothika were really scary in their respective movies..

  • adoreiiii

  • her make up is just messed up,thats it,nothing scary beyond that, jyotika scared the life out of me w/her expressions

  • they sooo copied the other movie chandramukhi, chndramukhi i way better then this one but this one is good too

  • Scariest performance ratings as per my opinion,

    1) Jyothika-Chandramukhi....to be frank her performance was the scariest

    2) Soundarya-Apthamitra...superb performance but not as scary as Jyothika

    3) Shobhana-Manichitratazhu...the original at its best, the best acting but less scary

    4) Vidya-Bhool Bhulaiya...performance was ok but not in the league of the above actresses....the most pathetic & least scary in my opinion !

  • @rahultheundertaker agreed. Jyothika's dance wasn't very good, but you could see the insanity in her performance.

  • all should see malayalam original by shobhana

  • amazing act by vidya balan

  • i don't know when you indians will feel you ppl r indians ...fighting of being hindi, malayali, tamil, telugu kannada n condemning each other so sick

  • i don't know when you indians will feel you ppl r indians ...fighting of being hindi, malayali, tamil, telugu kannada n condemning each other

  • Damn Dangerous song!!

  • @Srushti623 hahahha ikr! omg it scared me at first! n still it scares me!

  • nice song

  • why are stupid people comparing..............comment on this video i think vidya did such a good job:)

  • bollywood lyircs. c o has lyircs with sargam

  • anyway above all shobana did a very good job...great dancer...

  • does anyone know the bols for this song?

  • @PunjabiKudiUK I never said it was full Bengali. It clearly says 'full, Bengali' not 'full Bengali', which indicates that this is the full song with Bengali lyrics. No need to get foul-mouthed.

  • @Sunehri hahahhahha lolz

  • @Sunehri You could have been more specific.

  • @PunjabiKudiUK UK chaley gaye lekin ekglish nahin aayi

  • @PunjabiKudiUK UK chaley gaye lekin english nahin aayi

  • @PunjabiKudiUK : Learn to respect others. Just because you can write and talk, doesn't give you the license to foul mouth someone...

  • sucha sondar song!

  • hey.....hw cud u ever think of a comparison wid t orginal......its ma all tym fav....n all t remakes wr just nonsenz...thou t songs wr gud 2 hear.....being a malyalee/keralite doesnt make 1 shobhana....talent makes shobhana........even 2day i cant keep ma eyez off wn she dance....n malayalam filmz r more realistic than any other language filmz.........

  • scariest song ever....lol but i liked it

  • This song makes my heart soar! So beautiful. The ending was messed up though.

  • What was that end for!? i know people can be cruel, but this is WAY past cruel!

  • didn't Shobana ma'am dance to this song?

  • it is very beautiful!!!

  • bhool bholaiya is much better than any other languages film of the same story... I lov to watch this movie anytime.

  • @MrNi3ach : plz do watch Manichitrathazhu in malayalam...

  • luv dis song soooooo much!!

  • the dance is superb....wow!!!

  • vineeth you are amazing @ bharatanatyam!!

  • I dont understnd this lenguage, bbut i like this song

  • I love the music especially the drums.

  • yo peeps! i tink we're really 4gettin somethin imp here..fyi the lady who is 2 be psychologically affected by split personality is NOT supposed 2 be a brilliant dancer! so pls stop comparin the dancin...do nt cme 2 a decision of which language's version was better coz each of the versions were tailor made for that region.the malayalam version was not really captivating whereas the tamil and kannada ones were. the hindi one kinda destroyed the whole classical feeling. so juz watch the one u lyk:)

  • @djdrona133 ..malayalam film was more realistic and maybe less captivating for an indian audience, which has always appreciated dramatic and tadka movies...and dancing need to be compared, because the scenes in which the heroine is dancing with vineeth, she is supposed to be the real enchentress..and hence her dancing matters as well.malayalam version was made in 1992 and doesnt used any artificial lenses ,lights ,sounds or effects and even then no remake of it is as good as it.

  • @XXXMuSiCMAnIaXXXI haha the bottomline is buddy, watch the version you like..and stop the comparison's as well:)

  • I love you INDIA:x:x:x:x:x

  • Shreya is the BEST SINGER ever and she will be 4 ever

  • Superb!

  • LUVVVVVV D SONG.....AWESOME MUVEE........thumbs up if ya agree!!!!!!!!

  • For all those who feel from where Mr preetam took this song/tune, i would like to share what i feel........ Listen to the song "MAN MOHANA BADE JHOOTE" from film seema featuring Nutanji....... its the same raj, although i don't know the name of the raag!!

Please share ur views on this.....thanks.:)

  • Shobhana must be classically trained whereas Vidya has done her best without any training so I applaud her hard work. It must have been dancing next to such fabulous dancer. Anyone would feel inferior dancing next to him. Maybe Vaijayanti Mala would do justice.

  • @jhilkebahini atleast vidhya tried her level best better than chandramukhi

  • no the performance of vidya balan is 10% more horrifying then anyone else ..........whether it is manichitrathazu or any one else........

  • @TheThepheonix99 ....go and see manichithrathazhu and chandramukhi...

  • forget about the dance, these girls could have tried to copy and perform at least 10% of what shobhana did!

  • Shobhana's performance in the original verson (Malaalam) is the best one.. She bagged the national Award for the role(1994)

  • Manichitrathazhu, the original movie was made in Malayalam by Fazil and it was the first in a series of movies he made about exploring the intricacies of the human mind, and its frailities... True masterpieces... The hindi one was downright comical and lets not talk about the tamil one....

  • luv mg sreekumar's voice :)

  • This is where we mIss Lata & Mohd rafi,

but these 2 singers where also great

  • Hi all, i personally feel that the Malayalam version is better than Hindi version no matter how old it is!

  • I like! :o) Anuradha from Finland.

  • MEri Chaahtein Hai....

    Aami Je Tomar....

  • PREETAM can not come upto this STANDARD He must have COPIED from somewhere here in india and if he has composed it himself i will give him STANDING OVATION beautiful melody with beautiful voice and face of SHERYA GHOSHAL i am pakistani 03332604292

  • thats what called the indian song!!!!!!

    its awsome!!

  • i like vidya...But guys,u shud see the original malayalam version...It was made 15 years ago,and still its a masterpiece! Shobana's performance is breath taking!

  • @rahulerai whats the name of the movie ...

  • @swapanroy bhool bhoolaiya

  • @swapanroy malayalam version is called manichitrathazhu

  • @rahulerai ..she is a malayali..she mi8 have seen that...coz I personally feel that she has been succesfull in copying shobhana about 60%..

  • @XXXMuSiCMAnIaXXXI :yeah,i agree..

  • @XXXMuSiCMAnIaXXXI

Vidhya is not a malayali.....she is a Palakkad Tamil and a Keralite:)

  • @azharchennai ...she is from a palakadan tamil family..but where comes the difference//....all palakadan tamilians also knows to speak malayalam as well..and more than that she identified herself with kerala in a filmfare award show while giving best debutant award to asin thottumukkal...

  • @XXXMuSiCMAnIaXXXI

    So do me...Im also from a palakkad tamil family.....nd i call myself from Kerala.....but how can I b a malayali...Im a linguistic minority of kerala...hope u got the difference!!!!

  • both the tamil and hindi versions of this song are not even closer to the performance of sobhana in the malayalam version.....

  • Shobhana's performance (in the origninal movie Manichitrathazhu)was the best amoung the all versions..

  • love the voice of shreya !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • love the song !!!!!!!!!!

  • Both shreya and M.G.Srikumar r brilliant in this song. Music is soothing.

  • Beautiful performance by vidya.. Defntly better than tamil version. Thats for sure..

  • @umamakesh24 well said dude good performance

  • i liked this movie specially akshay & vidya's performance.

  • Shreya ghoshal done FATAFATI

  • how wonderful is the malayalam version.....

  • i love this song

  • i am very enjoy this song by pritam

  • wow i like it . i have never seen love like that . i love this song

  • Masterpiece indeed! Only can be made in India!

  • dis song is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooogud

  • Its 'inspired' by "Ami Je Jalsaghore Baloari Jhar".

    Search for it.

  • @Shaunakde whats worng with Pritam. I searched for the song and yes there is similarity. seriously pritam, stop copying.

  • vineeth is just flawless. he is a master with superiro dancing skills. each and every single dance moves coming from him is just 200% accurate. and why not after all he is after all related to Shobhna who in her own right a flawless dancer.

  • vidya you lokk lovely when u dance with the boy but when u lokk messed up ur weirddd my sisters call u bhoothni:)

  • This is a good one considering that Vidya is not perhaps classically trained. . my preference any day is for the original once by Shobhana, which is so beautiful.. Vineet, the male dancer in this video is her cousin.. try search for Manichitrathazhu climax.. you can see the difference..

  • This a nice one.. pref of course any day is to see Shobhana dance.. That is simply perfection.. You can ofcourse see glimpse of those in the male dancer Vineet, who is her cousin.. view Manichitrathazhu climax..

  • nothing compared to Shobana in malayalam.

  • what a nyceee song .nd a nice job?

  • Does any one know more songs like this. a song that uses elements from classical Indian music and with lots of sargaam(?)

  • I love this song.... i love the movie.... i love the male dancer and i love the female actress Vidya....i wish i could dance like this.... the music is so beautiful... i wish i could download this on my blackberry and listen to it while im on the train in NYC!!!! ahhh i love this song so much!!!!

  • my mom is bharatnatyam dancer, she said it is odissi and bharatnatyam mixed.

  • What style of dance is this? I think it is Odissi, but someone else told me that it was Bharatanatyam.

  • a terrific song though i cant understand the meaning but i can feel the feelings....

  • i loved thi scene in the movie! vidya was great

  • awesome song ! i need mp3 version of this song !! please post a link if anyone know !

  • Google 'bollyfm'

Or go straight to bollyfm [dot] net

  • Thanks for the links to the other versions.

But I love this song ! Though I'm not an expert, I think the woman's voice is incedible, especially at the end. Nice :)

  • @ouatizite shreyaa ghoshall :D (L)

  • who is the male singer? His accent sucks.

  • @vishcanada his name is M.G. Shree Kumar

  • If his accent sucks , suck it up lol, after all this is a Malayalam movie adapted to Bengali...M.G Sreekumar is a malayali....and dont expect him to dish out bengali all of a sudden>>. if you enjoyed the movie ,,,good

  • vidhya sucked this one... like gosh!

  • malayalam is so much better even though this version is pretty good on its own.. i guess nothing can ever be as good as the original.. especially since in the malayalam version the song starts with the insecurities and questions of the dancer and then when her lover arrives the songs takes up a soft romantic theme where her lover reciprocates. The absence of the king throught the song shows the personal touch and connection solely between the lovers alone.

  • Awesome!

  • this was kind of disappointing....the dance wasn't dynamic (though original) like shobana's.....

and vidya wore the same outfit throughout the whole movie, another disappointment as in all the other movies they had changed outfits with scenes

  • It aint real story, just shows it can happen to anyone, though its true....ppl can do anything once get influenced by someone...

  • The actual original one is the Mlayalam movie 'Manichithrathazhu"... it was a blockbuster hit in Kerala in early 90's.. Most here would not have seen it.. but i have seen all its remakes and have to say.. Noone could accomplish the surreal rendering of this charecter other than Shobhana in the original.. Its so disturbing... MAYBE THATS WHY THE INDIAN GOVERNMENT HONOURED HER WITH A NATIONAL AWARD (URVASHI AWARD) FOR THE ROLE....!! now decide..

  • Comment removed

  • @shippie2 I think aptamitra was also good, serious and makes sense to the story, no laka laka laka non-sense as seen in tamil version. Soundarya did really well. Also Indian govt wont give award for remake movies so you cant compare later versions with the original. Also the hindi version seems to be more comedy kind of movie which is so bad for a serious story like this. I must say fazil gets all the credit as he directed the original but the kannada remake is also good it ran for 2 years.

  • @shippie2 Also the spooky thing about the kannada remake is soundarya died just before the release of apthamitra. Also Dr Vishnuvardhan died just before the release of its sequel Aptharakshaka.

  • @Diva76ish for ur kind information...it is not at all a ghost movie.....she jst gets mentally disturbed....its there in the dialogue itself....a psychic vibration.....y should they call a psychiatrist 4 ghost? dont be so superstition...and the death of soundarya and vishnuvardhan was jst accidents ok? no wonder y other countries call us superstition country....

  • No, this is Manjulika's decleration of love to her lover. So it's not really a sad song.

  • the whole song should have been in bengali, mainly because agni's "second identity's" (the classical dancer) native language is bengali... just doesn't make sense

  • Yeah I see the point there. But Manjulika's lover is not Bengali, and since she's sort of declaring her love for him it is important that he understands what she's saying. Other than that whenever Avni enters Manjulika's personality she starts speaking Bengali.

  • @Sunehri you make a good point. the malayalam and tamil versions had manjulika (nagavalli) speak another language. interesting tho, thanks!

  • @NiMBuKun25 ..In malayalam version, the lover is also a tamilian so there is no problem with ganga(shobhana) singing a tamil song.Shobana's dance is the best.soundarya's dance is very bad and so is vidya's though vineeth is exellent in ami je tomar...This movie when made in malayalam was inspired by a true incident that happened in a palace of central travancore...

  • @XXXMuSiCMAnIaXXXI oh it was based on a real incident?..any links for tat pls?:)

  • @djdrona133 That story Happened Before Independence if iam right
