I disagree. People change and their view vary throughout their life. I think he still holds the same values he always had because after all, you will always be you, it is what you project that changes. He isn't 23 anymore, he's 40. It is impossible to ask someone to stay stagnant and the same for 20 years.

I love The Spooky Kids and do miss the raw intensity of the music and subject matter but can appreciate The High End of Low on a different level.
