How to Write a Screenplay in 3 Days - The Story Paradigm

before i think about doing this, i have story ideas, but how do I develop them? lets say my idea is "The dog crosses the street" how can I begin writing it, if i have no idea where i want that story to go?... do i just randomly add stuff in? and how would i even know how many characters i need. i hope i make sense thnx!!

@ummmiloveu Did the dog get ran over? Did it make the other side? Did the dog nearly get ran over? Was it a lost dog? What was the name of the street?

Yeah, you can throw random stuff in it OR add more specific stuff to the original idea and keep on going from there.
