  • The 1st part is epic, it's like god is watching our human politics and drama and warfare in his universe. The 2nd sounds like what would happen in world war 3, as the human race is dooming ourselfs haha. The drums remind me of War. The last part is just fluff.

  • 1:23 is the epic part

  • After many requests I uploaded the Opening with drums version. Took me a long time to find but here it is under responses. Enjoy and subscribe!

  • Oh my God I was searching for 5:30+ for ages, I never knew it was in Ep III theme tune!!! YAY THAT IS THE EPIC SAUCE OF THE SONG OMG <3

  • 5 people have about as much brains as the battle droids trying to shoot Anakin and Obi-Wan...

  • Star Wars music being your favorite music is what I assume to be like being gay...ya can't tell anyone you know. If I showed my friends my iTunes library, I would never here the end of it...

  • This is the best opening theme out of all the star wars episodes.

  • 4:46 CLANK CLANK CLANK *cough cough* whats the situation, commander?

  • lol 123 likes 4 dislikes 1234

  • ok this has a little rite of spring in here to those music lover who recognize it!

  • 117 likes lol.

  • Song played when Chuck Norris saves the day.

  • 1:53-1:58 amazing...

  • My brain came at 1:41.

  • i like the film version better, but this one is classic

  • General Grevious's theme is probably the best and most underused theme ever.

  • 1:24 - "Here's where the fun begins!"

  • Ba ababbaaaa ba bababababaaaaaa baaaaa baaaaa babababaaaaa baa bababbaaaa ba bababbaaaaaaaa na naaaaa naaa anananananananannnaaaa nnananaaa naa ana na naanananaaana na nan anaaaaa anana ana nana naan na ananan anaananaanaanananan ana n ana nanannaananaanana naaa naa aan aaaaaa naaaaaa na ananaaaaa naa anaannanaaaaaa naaa ananaanaaaaaan aaaaan aaaaana nnananaaaaa naaa anananana aaaa naanananannaaaaaaa babababaababa bab aba bab ab abbabababababababababababababa aaaaababaaababaaaaa

  • @piemanization Give that man a banana :)

  • 4:46 GRIEVIOUS!!!

  • Hey guys, there's no singing. This is not a song.

  • @harryotterrules Idiiot you don't have to sing to make a song:S

  • @JARHuygebaert you Sing a Song, why do you think it's called singing. Look up "song" on the dictionary before you call me an idiot.

  • GO SITH!!! FTW!!

  • What a soundtrack. What a terriffic movie.

  • 3:15 is my favorite part

  • As a trumpet player, i cant imagine ever having the endurance and accuracy to perform just this scene. The stacatto in that range was so crisp and on point. One day...one day.

  • 1:39 omg so epic

  • @MicroStarcraft2 yeah from there to 2:07 is awesome. dont get me wrong tho. i love the whole song

  • @MicroStarcraft2

Dude when I saw this for the first time in theaters, THAT PART blew my mind, and it reminded me why I love Star Wars.

  • @callsignDEVIL11 how does he rip off the theme if he wrote it? plus Harry Potter can't even compare to star wars

  • @callsignDEVIL11 Are you retarded?

  • yeah I love this song :)

  • ahhh... beautiful:D

  • my fave ! 1:17

  • 4:46

  • Sounds a lot like a combination of Elgar, Shostakovitch, Williams (of course!), and anything used in a pre-1979 war movie....

  • starwars is an awsome movie

  • They all are

  • @Clincher8515 except for phantom menace

  • Brilliant music John Williams has. My favorite is right around 3:30.

  • I love that ominous, heavy General Grievous cue that blasts in at 4:46... in terms of Williams' score for Ep III, it was a disappointment that he didn't do more with that villainous music.

  • But he did, he uses it alot in the movie.

  • Well, yes, but as a villainous theme purely for Grievous, it should've got a full track, rather than fleeting moments in other pieces... the fight scene on Utapau is a good example. We hear the theme at the start, then its goes away...

  • es verdaderamente una obra de arte, tenia que ser de jhon willians..maestro!!!

  • this movie was so epic and damn good... I saw it the opening day... and the musik just makes it better

  • dam i gotta watch movie

  • i will miss anticapating the next star wars movie :<

  • Me too.

  • What?

  • I'm Japanese so I can't type English well...

  • This makes me want to see star wars movies in the theater again there is no experience like it!!

  • u duno dat beautiful instrument???!!!!its horns!!!my instrument.the bez!!!

  • From 1:39 to 2:05, what are thoes instruments?

  • french horns

  • oops, oh really? sorry... lol

  • Trombone, trumpets in background.

  • I do believe its a combination of English horns, not French, and Trombone at 1:39 and Cornets possibly at 2:05

  • English horns are woodwind instruments similar to oboes..

  • Actually, English Horns are Oboes that got eggs stuck in their bells!

  • star wars main theme has to be the mist well known theme out of any thing

  • STAR WARS IS SO EPIC,

it takes my breathe away, haha.

  • :[ wheres the part that goes: (drums) da da da da

    AT THE BEGINNING!!

  • The soundtrack version is different from film version.

  • the opening was sooo epic in the cinema, i never will forget this moment

  • 1:39-2:05 is so emotional for me b/c (a) it reminds me that was the last star wars movie that meant something (Clone Wars sucked) and (b) I always say thank you to everyone involved in making Star Wars

  • The drums is amazing!

  • 1:38 to 2:35 is just amazing...

  • that's also a small piece I love very much in the Star Wars music... does anyone happen to know if there's a whole separate theme of it and what it's called?

  • That song/part is called The Force Theme.

It has (sad enough) never been offcially released as a theme.

But you can hear it in every soundtrack (think Ep4 got the part in Binary sunset?)

The theme is mostly found in music practice books (like flute, Saxophone, trumpet, etc.)

    Try it there ;)

  • awesome!

  • haha

    I love this song!

I'm like always humming it whenever I watch the movies, or if I just want to :P

    :)

    LOVE IT!

  • a-we-so-me!

  • They don't have those giant drums going on in the beginning like they did in the movie...

  • I wish it had the drums part too. It gives the song an even more epic feel.

  • I concur

  • yeah

  • @baradur5678 yea it's my favorite part, really sets you up the anticipation for the battle.

  • This is probably the best Star Wars song ever!

  • great song. reminds me of when I was in band.

  • Awesome song. I will add more soon
