  • my keyboard and track pad sudden went dead! but still operates fine with external mouse and keyboard plugged thru usb. I purchased new macbook top case and installed it. It work for some seconds then went out like dead again. I am wonder what was wrong.. PLEASE HELP! thank you much..

  • I just finished using your video to figure out how to replace the keyboard on my Powerbook Pro. Yes, there were a few differences with my notebook and the one you demonstrated, but by-an-large it was exactly as you described it. Many thanks!

  • just wanted to say thanks. I just replaced the keyboard on my macbook pro after a water spill. Saved my around $150-200 in parts and labor doing it myself.

  • i have badly dented my pb g4 17 therefore i need to replace the bottom houseing. If i replace it with a housing from the same model but with a different processor speed (1.67ghz case for 1.33ghz) will it be compatible ? thankyou, please help :)

  • @Sundancer213 I'm assuming your option (alt) key is stuck on. normally those characters will type if you hold down the option (alt) key.
