well most people dont read the manuel. and plus, just get a screen protector and you can use pencils and not mess it up. i have screen protectors and it took a lonk time to get the bubbles out, but it was worth it. i dont even remember theyre there.

because my mom works for nintendo she has to set up those demos at best buy and walmart and sometimes i use those ones when i cant find one of our ds's (that looks funny) and sometimes the screen kinda looks like someone put a magnet up to it or something because they pushed too hard with the stylus

I dont like to deal with screen protectors but i used one and it lasted a month and a half but my screen was in good condition. Im going to get a dsi and Im wondering should I get screen protectors or go without?

My friend lost his stylus so he is using a knife. Now his screen has deep scratches and a big hole in the middle. Now he has to buy a new ds. This is his third ds. It was not a butter knife he was using either it was a big chef knife. Im not lying i swear.

i was stupid enough to chew on my ds stylus and eventually the tip came off and i was playing big bang mini and it scratched my screen pretty bad in the middle anyways u can buy screen protectors that dont stick to your screen and dont leave bubble they just fit on your screen

yea i have a screen protector but it is sticky it doesnt really matter as long as my screen feels normal i was playing guitar hero for ds and it scratched my screen my ds lite is in good condition exept my screen but the protector works my friends alwase went on my ds though im not letting no one on my dsi or ds lite only my xbox wii and ps3

I have an original DS that I've had for years, and you can't find ANY stylus' for it. So I HAVE to use a pen, and I have for a while now, and the toutch screen's in pretty decent shape.

BTW, you should've mentioned the fact that DSes have a slot to keep your stylus in, giving less of a reason to lose the thing (but then again, a lot of people are morons who can't leave things where they belong -_-).

your fingers might be dirty and greasy, which makes dust particules very easy to accumulate in the screen, hence more scratch prone. i wouldn't advise that.
