it's really not that difficult, it's just that double bass is so overused and is a crutch to many drummers. double bass ftl, just learn how to heel-toe/slide/swivel (whatever technique you choose) and you'll be golden. sooo much more fun as well

I think he may just be doing sixteenth triplets. which is 6 beats per crotchet, which is equil to 1 bpm. I think he might be doing the first three hits in the right hand, missing the forth hit then getting the last two on the right foot. If you notice he (in a few instances) hits with his hands a drum four times followed by two bass drum hits, in one beat and repeating that three more times per 4/4 bar. it is the exact same but with one hand and no fourth hit.1ea+ea2ea+ea3ea+ea HHH_FF

But one thing, if you wanna play great dnb/jungle:

Learn how to "recreate" the amen break better as a sampler.

Search for "amen brother" and you will find a nice documentary.

And search, if you havent seen it yet, for Prohibited beatz. 5 parts i think. great doc about jojo mayer, jungle, dnb and hip hop.

Learn from these movies, and then you will be a n great drummer ;)
