As a note, Clorox is owned by P&G, a company which could be considered "indifferent but not resistant" to ecology. They tend to listen to their customers and give them what they want. However, they are often affraid to make statements that would ruffle the feathers of other companies in their sector.

I've heard of offers on the table, but I don't think so. Also, P&G, the buyer has been known not to mess with formulas they buy. They currently produce Dawn and Ivory soaps, as well as quite a few nasty harsh chemicals including Clorox (which is only bad because they sell all purpose cleaners based on it), which are complete opposite sides of the spectrum.
