What (in my opinion ) they got correct as far as winners (as evidenced with record sales / grammys) Seasons: 1 Kelly Clarkson - Yes 2 Ruben Studdard - No - Clay Aiken 3 Fantasia Barrino - Tossup between Diana DeGarmo 4 Carrie Underwood - Yes 5 Taylor Hicks - DEFINITE NO! - Katherine McPhee or Chris Daughtry 6 Jordin Sparks Yes (with reservations) 7 David Cook Yes (liked Brooke White also) 8 Kris Allen NO (Lambert was better) 9 Lee DeWyze NO - Siobhan Magnus was a better singer.

American Idol is flawed. This woman is one of the best singers to surface on this planet; at least in my humble opinion.

Voted off so soon is an indication that Idol is not about the best singer but who is more popular.

When Idol started, clearly it was a "singing" competition it's changed

I wonder how much is her song choice versus that she doesn't use the stage. She can sit in a chair and sing Sesame Street songs for all I care. She gets my vote.

Some judge said that so far the only criticism he had was that all she seems to sing is ballads and should try something new.. ie- pop rnb etc..

i would like to see her sing maybe something like katy perry - i kissed a girl or hot and cold.... that should do the trick and clearly show she can sing anything and any style... You go Pia ! show them how it's done and kick all their %sses : )
