The plot of this movie directly parallels the plot for 'The Burning'...which directly parallels 'Friday the 13th pt2.'.

This one is the funniest & cheesiest of them all, but Madman Mars is not to be fucked with. lol

The most animated of the three blood drenched antagonists. Dude grunts, runs & climbs trees[wtf!] As my buddy said, "an actual monster"... is the madman. Add a cast so bad acting & annoying they had to die = good stuff, good stuff. x]

This flick was shown on IFC recently. Its alright. It has its cool parts AND some stupid parts too. Its basicaly about this camp-fire stoy villain ( an axe murderer ) who turns out to be real.

I have always loved this film. One of the best photographed of all slashers; the lighting is superb, the violence well staged, and the music perfect. I will pay whatever it costs for a special edition edition. It stands out from others because it appears that the producers gave a sh*t and hired people to make it who knew what they were doing.

The trailer is a textbook example of how to cut an effective trailer.

It is highly underrated and very suspenseful.

It was available on DVD before, but it is now out of print. You can buy them used, but they cost about $60 or more.

Hopefully a studio like Anchor Bay or Blue Underground pick it up in the future, and it gets released on DVD again
