Those backgrounds stories have evolved throughout the years and have now become more complex than ever (compare the old prince of persia for sega to the latest prince of Persia). The stories used in games are often narrated in such away that they might as well be movie scripts. And in the end, these same stories are made to entertain the crowd, which means that they are based on what the crowd wants to see/believe.

And its in this system where the poor get rich and rich go broke, all based on the investment on a market based on the overall peoples faith in the economic system. Not everyone can become rich, that's impossible. There isn't enough money to go about. What sort of ecocomic system does your people use that is oh so effective?

@Lightscribe225 I'm well aware of the fact that not everyone can be rich. But it's not a cosmic rule to have an extremely rich side and an extremely poor side. The European Union prevents certain industries to expand too much. There must be room for competition. This is barely the case in American capitalism, where free economy rules, which means that the rich can just buy out the competition and set up their own prices.

My problem with America's capitalism is the fact that the US is run by industries. You claim to be a democratic country which respects liberty, yet your people are hardly represented by the ones they elect. Your economy is based on warfare and the fat democrats and republics, all with their own share of industry, shake hands while your people die.

I can't wait till this game comes out. Finally more games set in the real world rather than in space, I mean Halo is cool but we have plenty of sci-fi and other fantasy type games. We need more real world shooters and this game fits the bill with a Red Dawn kind of style which is awesome.
