the gts put down 223whp on the 70 shot, i was at the dyno. MODS that were really on it. CAI,homade cat back(w cat) fidenza clutch and lightwieght flywheel. And of the slicks. On that run he got a 1.7x 60 ft time.

i drive a dump truck and double clutching is pointless in a normal car. double clutching lets the clutch catch the speed of the motor after you pull it out of gear. then you push the cluth in again to throw it in gear.*clutch in, neutral,clutch out-clutch in, shift, clutch out. try it.

uhh... dumbass you can't duble clutch when you shifting up in gears it only works when you down shift

uhh dumbass. take it from someone who builds transmissions. double clutching if done quickly in correctly in the first in second gears can significantly decrease track times.  you obviously don't know much about how the concept of it works. i know all about launching and speedshifting. don't preach to me.

Awesome vid! Kinda hard to believe that a shot of nitrous put you at that speed though. My friend has the same mods (but no slicks or nitrous) and ran a 14.2 in the same car.

That is called traction :). Low MPH for the ET means it hooked well. Car has great power for the mods all the way through the powerband for each gear.

i've talked to the owner, he is running like a 80 shot, stock internals, has intake, exhaust, clutch, flywheel. pistons are just fine. i have a 70 shot myself on stock internals and all is doing well for me so far. If you shoot a higher shot you definately need to upgrade pistons.

very believeable. i went mid 13's N/A and w/o slicks. mph is bout where it should be as well. I was trapping about 102. with 180 whp and 136 wtq. weight was 2340 lbs. (on mine)
