  • Great video. 9 people are douches.

  • God Bless America! God Bless our service men and women who keep all of our families safe.

  • im not a COD fag but this would be an awesome killstreak reward for MW3

  • beautiful planes, both of them bot my grand dads flew in ww2 one was a ball gunner on a b-17g and the other was a P-51d mustang pilot they told me a story that one time the one flying the p-51 was the escort for the bomber squadron that my other grand dad was in

  • i love it when the jets climb and the pilots face full burners to the ground and its like a mini earthquake

  • absolutely beautiful, and thats coming from a Navy man. ABE2

  • absolutely beautiful. i love the f-22. i fly it all the time in simulators but they never do it any justice. i wish the topspeed details would be released :(

  • Nice video! I was at this show!

  • look the body still half complete?!! hahaha! thats so stupid! after being blown out of the sky half of the body is still complete. most of F-22s parts should be falling in pieces not in two big parts.

what a propaganda this is. even more crazy is that the other half came from F-35!!!! hahahah!

  • @ah4321 OMG the video is from PowerRussia she make the biggest Propaganda with MarshallJukov they always say that Russia is the best OMG T-90 and the best 1 Missle of a Raptor and the T-90 Burn in hell!

  • what idiots congress has been

stoping production of the f-22? wake up america!

  • Production was stopped because the people we are fighting don't have any aircraft. Already we have 183 and possibly 7 more soon, when there is a larger air threat then there will be more F-22s.

  • oh well if the countries we fought did have aircraft theres no doubt the f22 would kick their butts

  • If you've got 300 million dollars or whatever it costs to spend on a plane that will almost certainly never be used, then feel free to stump it up. Personally I'd rather have a healthcare system that doesn't result in bankruptcy for anyone who gets seriously ill...

  • Stopping at 180+ planes is enough, considering a single Raptor can be VERY troublesome for full squadron of any 4th and 4.5 Gen aircraft out there.

With that said, Two Raptors can annihilate a full squadron of enemy fighters.

  • True about the Raptor! Then the enemy still has to deal with the mighty F-15c and the comming Silent Eagle! I almost feel sorry for the bad guys. Almost...

  • I would love to see the true speed of this engineering marvel. btw LM + P&W rule !!!

  • Combat configuration my ass. It's weapon bays are empty and so half , or more , of it's fuel tanks.

  • Thanks for posting. We have a great display at RAF Fairford in England which has featured this aircraft. Awesome much like the Typhoon.

  • I admire this achievements of human intelligence.

    BUT:

I'm from Argentina and I hope that your army does not come here with military attack by water as they did with Iraq for oil. hope :)

  • The war in Iraq wasn't a good move, but it wasn't to get oil. Good thing Argentina has never fought a war of aggression. Oh wait.. they did. How did that go again?

  • Cancelling that program is the silliest decision ever taken... End of U.S. power ?

  • ik they should cancel the f35 instead

  • They should not cancel any of these programs ! They are complementary, like the F-15 and the F-16... Even if the threat has changed, as some specialists pretend, no one can say if the same threat won't come back...

  • awesome plane but when your country is in as a deep a financial hole as yours, you gotta cut somewhere

  • "End of U.S. power" we didn't cancel the program!

  • That would be awesome! You did a fantastic job taping the F22. Very still and your camera did not go out of focus. Would like to see your 2009 work. I have seen people upload long videos. If not, do it in parts. I would definitely watch it. my favorite part is when the F18 came close to the sound barrier and you saw that vapor cloud formation. Never saw that before!! Hope you got it on film.

  • My video from the beach this year (Sat only) is TERRIBLE. I was unprepared for the cold wind that day and let's just say that the video is like that of AC, Oceana, and Pensacola 2008.

  • Soldierdood, it cant go SS its illegal, it went trans-sonic, close but not there yet, if it went SS your car wouldnt have windows

  • yeah the f-18 went super sonic was amazing I was right at center point when he did it.

  • 2009 air show was great. Thunderbirds were awesome and the F18 put on a great display. At one center stage pas, i saw a vapor cloud for the first time as it was flying at near supersonic speed!

  • Check out my videos, I got the F18's vapor cloud on video :D

  • Hey i got the Entire 2009 airshow at jones beach on tape and edited, its long video hope youtube lets me put it on

  • Ah I thought 2009 at JB would be my first show, but I caught the flu- UGH and such sexy weather too. Enjoy it guys, I'll be looking forward to the coverage.

  • better not rain

  • I live in seaford and can hear the F-18s flying over right now... i think theyre probably practicing i saw 4 before at a distance but couldn't tell if they were F-16s or F-18s... i doubt they were F-22s

  • I can almost guarantee you heard F-16s. The Thunderbirds should be there by now.

  • Yeah I was thinking Thunderbirds.

  • they flew over my school and i live a halfhour away

  • i live a 10 minute drive from jones beach and its the day before the air show so ive been hearing jets and everything flying over all day... also yesterday i saw a chinook and 2 apaches flying over the LIE

  • I was there!! and im going this year!! Cant wait!!

  • lets hope the weather holds up

  • it maneuvers so well

  • I kinda liked it

  • I was there to I loved this plane it was loud as hell!!!!!

  • best fighter out

  • I was there. I love it when it comes right above you!!! It sounds awesome!!! When the F-22 came right above me, I couldn't believe my ears.

  • i was there x] i loved when it went straight up because it was so loud xD

  • cool

  • "su-37 way better" .... There's a good one, Lol. A Russian airshow queen? SUs have to fight just to stay airborne! Kinda like your grandma fighting Mike Tyson.

  • 4:43... just awsome

  • That power sounds awesome. Check out and air show and be there for the F-22's. The F-14s had awesome power too.

  • I was there ^.^

  • the price of one raptor is 142million and the us airforce has 91 of them

  • Yay tax dollars!

  • Trust me its from 108 to 109 mill Right now. IN 2008 Its projected to Be 135 mill of machinery Because of an improved computer being put in place and A new radar system. So were gonna have a fleet of 2 different f-22s by 2009. Read about it do some research.

  • 109 mill yeah.

  • its 109.8 mill I work on a base

  • 144 mill

  • mustang is better ?

  • 150 bucks!

  • this guy is amazing, the g's must be taken a toll on him

  • costs 140 million each but worth every penny

  • 130 million but yeah still worth it

  • 185 million...

  • 135 million. :)

  • "The current cost for a single copy of an F-22 stands at about $137 million."

    Air Force Print News

    you were right em745aa gratz

  • F-22 Raptor & P-51D Mustang - such a sweet touch!

  • F-22, P-51D, and F-16 was fucking awsome I was there it was so amazing.

  • dang 18:38 minuete's long!

  • Maybe we can finally get Osama now that we have these billion a pop fighters.

Astonishing agility on this thing. How many do the Saudis get? When are we going to sell them to Israel? Will these be used to close our borders? Does it use that charged plasma effect on the leading edge of the wing like the 117 and B2 do? Does it use free energy?

Or is it is a flying gas tank? Imagine the logistical support this thing needs.

Trucks of supplies/fuel and 100's of support

    personell. Still,gorgeous.

  • Actually it requires a lot less maintance time and support personnel than the F-15 and has farther range. Saudis don't get any, not even the F-35.

Isreal remain a ? for now, but they do get the F-35.

  • I was working there (with the NG recruiters) and this is the most amazing aircraft I've ever seen. A couple days before, I was in a blackhawk, I was wondering what was holding up our take off. I looked out the window, and there were the F-22s right next to us on the taxiway. Nice.

  • I attended this one, which was a great show..thanks for the posting..what a gorgeous day it was, as reflected in your camera..great footage

  • B2 is a bomber, HTF would it own a fighter??? A fighter would run circles around it and blow it out of the sky with ease. B2 is stealthy, but no invisible to radar, certainly not the latest radar tech. B2 is like a solid gold Rolls Royce. $1.2 billion each, lol. What an efficient management of resources.

  • Whats amazing is that this is just what they want us to see. You can only imagine what this thing can really do in high altitudes and at higher speeds.

  • Nice fly!

  • F-22 owns anything in the skies.

  • EVariation.. your wrong.. the B-2 Stealth Bomber owns ANYTHING in the skys, or ground

  • EVariation is right... there's nothing that'll touch the F-22, especially when it runs in its stealth configuration (all gear and weapons within the fuselage).

  • your both wrong, its not considered a Stealth Jet.. so there is no way it can be stealth..

plus the B-2 owns anything becuase of the lack of noise, and speed

  • Your statement: you're both wrong; its not considered a Stealth

My reply: Tell that to Lockheed Martin. It's marketed as a 5th generation fighter with a stealth configured fuselage. You're right that it's not a steatlth bomber, but you're grossly mistaken it's not stealth. It's not superior radar technology that increases it's effective range for targeting, it is the ability of the plane to "not appear" on their radar screens.

  • thats if they are far away or not by the radar beam..

the stealth bomber does not get seen at all.. it deflects radar beams away from where they are coming from..

if anyone hears the F-22 all they gotta do is get in their jets and then its goodbye from there

  • You: the stealth bomber does not get seen at all. it deflects radar beams away from where they are coming from.

Me: This is where you're misinformed about the F-22. Not only is the F-22 stealth, it's the next generation of stealth design. Lessons Learned from the B-2 allow LM to significantly improve on what they knew from the B-2's performance and design.

You: if anyone hears the F-22 all they gotta do is get in their jets and then its goodbye from there

Me: Uh, duh. Same with the B-2.

  • "Rail" thrust vectoring coupled with RAM/SCRAM technologies makes this look like the Cub Scouts. A skater can spin extremely fast by tucking in his or her arms. The lethal fighter of the future will turn on a dime with its engines on "rails" so they can create a tighter axis, will use RAM/SCRAM engines and "ride" a plasma wave/high freq "beam" that will vastly reduce drag. Piloted speeds of Mach 4-6 will be commonplace and unmanned hyperspeeds of Mach 13 will be realized.

  • i was there on 05/25/08 it was better than i thought it would be ,by 10a.m. it was packed ,got sunburn on legs, also i thank an older couple who gave me a jump start for my car, thank u.

  • this was so loud at the show x]

  • That has an amazing stall threshhold, thanks for posting

  • For comparison. The Typhoon and Rafael have around a 1.0:1 to 1.1:1 ratio. The SU-27 has about the same as those two. The Typhoon and Rafael are small compared to the F-22 and SU-27.

    How about this

The Rafaels two M88 engines have a combined max thrust of 34,000lbs

The Typhoons two EJ200 engines have a combined max thrust of 40,000lbs.

One F119 engine that powers the F-22 has 37,000lbs of thrust!!!

Power enables you the unmatched ability to do what ever you want in a dog fight!

  • "Power enables you the unmatched ability to do what ever you want in a dogfight"! Absolutely man! Especially in recovery and the vertical fight! Nice to see somebody here on "boobtube" understands fighter tech and are not subject to the blind & foolish slobbering over of their favorite countries' fighter planes...

  • =D. A-MEN!

  • No problem PsiBrr. I work for Pratt & Whitney so i'm up to date when it comes to engine ratings from all the manufacturers ;-)

Within 7-10 years you will see F-22's with 80,000lbs+ of thrust, so the thrust to weight ratio will be "atleast" 1.55:1!

Air to air scenario for the F-22 mission is- full internal fuel (25,000lbs), 6- Aim 120c/d's (350lbs each), 2-Aim 9x's (200lbs each) 480 rnds of 20mm (600lbs+) The F-22 empty is under 27,000lbs for just under 55,500lbs+ at takeoff!

  • Great camera work! I was at that show, and while no video could ever truly capture the thrill and actually being there, this one is as close as they come. Thanks for posting it!

  • Videos of the F-22 do it no justice at al,. go see it at an airshow. The power and maneuverability along with it's low speed handling is unreal! With a thrust to weight ratio of 1.3:1+ at take off is unmatched. No plane in the world even comes close. By the way, the P&W F100 powers the F-15, the GE F404 powers the F-18 just to clear things up! Also, the official rating of the F119 is 37,000lbs, with upgrades that will bring it over 42,000lbs for future Raptors just around the corner.

  • damn 42,000 lbs thats up there with the f-15

  • But the F-22 has TWO of them. That's 70k+ thrust...

jjs4you2, thanks for the correction on the F-18. The F-100 powers both the F-15 and the F-16.

  • oh yeah just did the math....thats like 2 older airliner engines

  • found the correction. nevermind.

  • at $4 a gallon that fly by must cost major mojo

  • f22 amazing

  • F22 an amazing piece of engineering there.

  • GREAT CAMERA WORK !!!!!!!!! with a GREAT F 22 DEMO!!!!

    Thank ypu

  • definition of badass

  • It sure is great to see those Pratt & Whitney F119's pushing that piece of Lockheed-Martin genius through the air. The Raptor is an insane 5th generation fighter. It's cruising (supercruise) speed is ridiculous.

  • yeah i know...something like the top speed of a f-18(1200mph)

  • Two entirely different engines. The F119 supplies 35,000 lbs. of thrust per engine. The F100 powers the F-18. I forget what thrust it supplies, but it IS markedly less than the 119. The F22 is lighter than the F-18 as well, so it has to be faster.

  • oh ok

  • F100s powered the f-15 and f-16 with 25 thousand pounds of thrust I believe. werent the f-18s powered by something else?

  • Actually those Pratt & Whitney F119's actually produce 37,000+ pounds of thrust each! Heard that directly from the mouth of Pual "Max" Moga! That's a thrust to weight ratio around 1.48 to 1...

  • You're right, but who's Paul Moga?

I work on the F119 Core Integrated Product Team program at P&W. I work with the fuel nozzles, combustors, and diffuser cases tracking performance and simulating part aging. As a veteran, it's a phenominal place to be. I really enjoy working on this project and the F135. The people I work with at P&W are just as great as the projects!

  • Ahh, you got jokes! Paul Moga is the pilot of just about every(99%) F-22 demo here on youtube!

  • Duh. Boy don't I feel dumb. I had the pleasure of meeting 4 of the Lockheed Martin test pilots on their PR tour with their flight simulator (Which was MAD freakin' cool and FUN to fly). They came around to Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford a couple months ago, and what a treat is was!

  • awesome video
