  • all i can break are chopsticks and popsicle sticks

  • @oiuuu123 try pencils, then try thin sheets of ice, then try sticks, then thicker sticks, then boards.

  • Nice break.

  • holy shit...

    camera is to shaky though

  • wow nice video

  • good

  • wow impressive

  • he doesnt realy break all the bricks

its just the momentum of the first brick keeps going all the way down until they all break

  • I love the voice in the background. " he is not gona do it" (after soiling trousers) "perfect shot"

  • We don't break bricks anymore :(

  • That was really cool. I'm a 2nd degree at pil sung now and I'm still on the demo team. The demo team is really amazing this year. We have a demo this weekend at robert's an the christmas party is soon to.

  • can u karate chop ppl in te face?

  • yeah we have blackbelt class and we do this thing called block counter counter and we fight eachother with equipment. guys fight eachother, girls fight eachother and guys fight girls to.if u wanna c more of what we do, look up pilsungdo karate fight.

  • my dads a hardcore blackbelt and he karates me all the time

  • wow. I'm the only one in my family that does karate. Did u check that video out yet. I'll send u the link

  • alright

  • thATS A great break when they bow in what to they say i do taekwondo and all i say is ATA and the black dobocks (cool

    8D)

  • he looks like a police officer

  • lol if he was a police officer just wait wat he can do to a criminal's body in 40 sec

  • it's not even "real" bricks.. just some shit that are easy to break. he probably would run away like a scared baby if he was in a _real_ fight

  • no doubt against you?

  • whe the started he shouted Chariyot, then Kyung-ye, which is korean for attention and bow, meaning this should be taekwon-do, however they are in black doboks.

anyone care to tell me why?

  • Pil Sung Do is a Korean Art. Pil Sung is Korean for Certain Victory and is a common phrase used with Tae Kwon Do and Choi Kwon Do. So this discipline will used a lot of Korean words but it is not Tae which is a more traditional art form in the way punches are thrown and jpints are locked.

  • ah thankyou for claering that up for me.

  • @Tr1vium666 Tae Kwon do uniforms can be either White or Black.

Traditionally they are white, but many use black as well.

At my studio white is what the students wear and the instructors wear Black uniforms. It really just depends on what you want

  • THAT WAS AWESOME! But the camera person sucked

  • chi means anergy

  • yo me in marsial arts me can NOT break ten bricks nice vid dude

  • Im a long time student at this excact school. We dont do that whole "Focus your chi" thing the breathing technique does help tho. Its one of those power things and making yourself hit all the way through the bricks

  • i tried 6 bricks a year ago i got threw them all my teacher told me the key is to focus on the bottum brick and i did then when i tried i broke them all i was really excited

  • very nice : )

  • you just need to focus the chi into your arm, they also inhale alot, then exhale a good amount of air when they break the blocks.

  • what can I say other then WOW,,, very cool,, as you know Im shelly... Not pro recordings, when I have a Karaoke gig here I will let you know... so very cool... Peace & Respect

  • thats nothen. i did 50 bricks with my pinkey.

  • No u didn't

  • yes he did

  • this guy is good but bruce lee would kick his ass in a matter of seconds

  • imagine getting punched in the face by that bloke. saying that, if he's gonna take that long to aim i'd probably just move about a bit.

  • If you punched a person it will sway. Unlike those standing bricks that were just being pushed down by the gravity on the ground.

  • well I looks cool, but there's only his power in his arm - but I didn't see his technique...

There you actually don't need to practise karate or martial arts, to break bricks...

  • Agreed wth can you hold the camera still? This is not the blair witch project...

However...very well done break. Never did understand why everyone wants to punch that many when there are other techniques far more effective and less painful upon strike...but whatever works.

  • i was the 50,000th dude to watch this vid;p

okey filmng and very good karate-dude

  • OUTSTANDING!!!

  • awesome! tkd no?

  • is that the pil sung do on dallas highway???

cuz it sounds like mr.key at the beginning

  • yes

  • oh yeah:D

  • Brick bracking is awesome. Who ever was holding the camera better get a tripod or let someone else hold it. It was making me mad.

  • nice

  • was wondering what form of martial arts this is?

  • Pil Sung Do

  • What is the difference between that and Tae Kwon Do?

  • Pil Sung evolved from Tae. A lot of the concepts are similar but the movements are not as ridged. In tae there is a lot of locking of the joints when you punch and kick. Pil Sung movements are more natural and does not put the same stress on your joints.

  • people underestimate the martial arts

  • Razor, You need to be able to test your technique for accuracy and precision, thus breaking exercises are done. I also study Gumdo (Korean sword), but I can't just go around waiting to run into someone to slice up, now can I? I have to practice the accuracy of my cuts on paper, fruit, rolled mats, etc.

  • You people know nothing about martial arts.

Do you thing that because he broke a 10 bricks colum, it means that the guy is a great fighter.

The power of Martial Arts is not in your strenght, but in the strenght of your opponent and your fast reflexes.

  • A great fighter is one who does not have to because of the confidence and respect of his skills and art.

  • Anyone trained in any martial art it's like anyone carrying a gun all the time. There is a great responsability about holding a knowledge like that. So my message is fight (only to defend you and use only subjugation techniques) if the polite alternatives run out.

  • you can't know if someone is a great fighter if you do not fight with him!

    bye

  • I had this discussion with someone earlier. Not to rehash the whole thing but yes people have done similar types of breaks with no spacers - timber not bricks, no spacers, 2 feet deep. The poster was explaining the physics of the brick one and how it's just too dangerous.

  • I can punch three boards, kick five boards, without spacers, but going through a stack about a foot thick, is impossible, without spacers.

  • It's very difficult but not impossible, things like coordination, momentum and stance come into play. There are some very amazing blk belts, it's just a lot of people don't have the dedicatoin. He used an ridge hand chop, stepped into it landing in a front stance which uses his body weight and hips. Each board is about an inch thick. It's not hard to go through 3 boards, I'm sure you could do more with proper training.

  • this is not knife hand, it is palm heel strike...which is harder to develop speed momentum, but I think he makes up for it by adding his body momentum...

  • 2+2=4

  • OK, I'm not trying to be a jerk here and that is impressive but wouldn't this be harder if there wasn't space between the bricks? It seems like the space creates a domino affect of momentum where you break the first one and the rest fall like dominoes with much less force???

  • yeah i agree and im not trying to say that this is fake or something cuz this guy is freakin amazing, but if he were to do it without the spaces, he would be my hero

  • no one can do it with out the spacers

probably can't even with a ten pound sledge hammer, it would be like plywood, layered...

  • THAAANK YOU!

  • whoa

  • would hate to get into a fight with him lmao

  • awesome

  • WOOW!!!!

  • LUCKY CHARMS!

  • great guy but next time hold the camera stable plzz

  • i bet that hurt

  • 2 bad the bricks were spaced aprat. it would b 10x harder if they were not spaced apart

  • bad camera work but awesome

  • \__/)

    (='.'=)

    (")_(")

  • tough guy>>>>>>>>>>>

  • Rembrandto6. Ummmmm, okay. And your point is what??

  • ha what if he punched you in the balls

  • thoraxtofu. He would break every bone in his hand.

  • lmfao

    balls of steel XD

  • HOLY CHEESE NIPS!!!!!

  • OMFG

  • he must have trained awhile to do THAT i mean those things crumbled like a pie crushed by a elefant....damn i am a low level kung fu student and i am definately impressed i could never do something like that at my level my teacher has said i am a hard puncher but that is inhuman i just hope that person has morale control

  • Man, I'm a brown belt in Ninjutsu and Judo and I'm way impressed.

  • Let me paraphrase a quote from the movie The Karate Kid 2. "Hey Mr. Miyagi, can you break ten bricks? Don't know, never been attacked by ten bricks".

  • I thought it was a tree?

  • He said board. "Hey Mr. Miyagi, can you break a board? Don't know, never been attacked by a board".

I like Bruce Lee's comment better in Enter the Dragon "Boards don't hit back!"

  • Oh yeah, I was trying to remember the picture of Sato, lol, and I picture a tree. Lol, boards don't hit back.

  • Ahh, Haku92292-san. You listen Miyagi. I tell you ancient secret of word in my original comment - courtesy of Webter's Dictionary. Paraphrase: 1. A restatement of a text or passage in another form or other words, often to clarify meaning. 2. The restatement of texts in other words as a studying or teaching device.

Ah ha ha. Now I go drink rice wine.
