This is a neat feature, but I really wish they'd just make a StudioLive 32 channel mixer. If they did, I'd buy it for sure. Right now, an Allen & Heath Zed 436 with a couple of interfaces gets 32 channels into the computer for about $1000 less than two StudioLive 16's...
this is cool, but what Laptop could handle that many ins? Apple...? in saying that it still only goes through one firewire so maybe a laptop that can do 16 can potentially do 32?
Awesome! Are you thinking about making a console with more than 16 channels? I guess that would have been more affordable than to buy two and chain them together...

@Albigatnz Yes, a 2.4gHz Macbook Pro will work great with two StudioLives.
