  • How does Zipang manga end?

  • If it's how you think than I have nothing to say. You can't argue with idiots.

  • @MakroTeh

Maybe one small tip: it's not only the US who won the war and it doesn't have a monopole on history. Go to Germany or Japan they have lots of revisionists now.

  • @MakroTeh Hey did you enjoy the anime Zipang? The ending kind of let me down for me but good animation.

  • @MakroTeh

Maybe I might have come across as American hater but I live in the US and I have no problem with how the history turned out. Yeah I was going to say there is no point in arguing about a topic that has such wide point of views. we have different opinions and I respect your differences in perspectives. Also I dont know if you have left your own country but I go to Japan every summer.

  • @037kondo

Yeah I noticed that you're an American. But you rather came across as an conspiracy theorist and with such people I just don't argue.

About the anime: well I'm not an anime fan. I was just looking for some WW2 movie made by the Japanese and found this. It was too naive for me, didn't like it.

  • surface should be very danger, buy they were very Carefreeness

  • amazing anime.

  • Isoroku Yamamoto, the hero of Perl harber.

  • Hit at 100,000 views. Heh...

I really liked this first battle.

  • lmao 8:00

"This violates the conventions of war"

The Japanese broke so many I don't know where to start counting. This is rather ironic.

  • Of course Japan broke so many laws of war. But so did Russia, Germany and the USA. "The winner get to write the history books, and hide their war crimes." Tis true in every way, and there are truth that will never reach our eyes.

  • A truth that cannot be better said than this. Good post.

  • You are right, the US probably broke the least laws military wise, but political wise, they did some unfair things. Unfair but wise, which brought the US power and the status as the strongest nation in the current world.

  • If the US broke the least laws, as you say it, then why are they the sole country responsible for the Tokyo Firebombing attack of March 1945, which resulted in over 100,000 men women and children being incinerated alive?

  • Wow, Im surprised to find someone who negates the US braking the least laws.

As i said 5 month ago there are truth that will never reach our eyes. I cannot be certain which coutry broke the most laws of war. I myself is Japanese but I cannot deny the actions done by the Japanese in China. They did some of the horrible things imaginable to people for entertainment.

But bombing the cities back then in WWII was an acceptable strategy even if it has caused so many death.

  • I fear to acknowledge such reason but you may simply be right. I know Japanese prisoners got far worst treatment than the Germans although the Japanese also treated every POWs like slaves. The famous Japanese camp in California: nothing like that happened to any Germans living in the US.

War is made to be unfair though. There's no heroism involved in war. So its kind of useless to be arguing about who broke what. I mean hell, the US is probably braking laws in Iraq right now as we speak

  • quote: "the chinese red army made the least atrocities"

Are you serious? The red army was known for using fear in war, what does that mean? It means moving into a village, and killing the village leaders ( and their famillies). the Communist Chinese didnt even fight much during the war with Japan anyways, the Nationalist Chinese/Komintang did almost all of the fighting. After the war, Mao killed over 30 million of his own people.

So yeah, the Red army didn't do anything wrong....

  • Do not forget that there were much less fighters in red army in china in time of ww2. And they used guarilla tactics mostly. That was mostly a desync in their actions. Not even mentioning how Komintang massacred their so-called allies in red army during the ceasefire in the heat of ww2.......

Still. Its a bad manner to count who did most or did least. No one have clean hands in this matter.

  • @AK49Gunner actually Mao killed an estimated 70 - 100 million of his own people (that we know of), thus making him the greatest mass murderer in history

  • @037kondo

Oh wow we have here some serious weaboo war experts. The Germans killed about 27mln Soviets (mostly POWs and civilians), 6mln Jews (ok some of them Soviets), 3mlns ethnic Poles. The Japs also killed dozens of millions Chinese, Filipinos, Vietnamese, Burmese, Indonesians etc etc. Mostly they killed POWs and defenseless civilians long after conquering a country. At the same time the Germans lost 1-2mlns civilians, and the Japs ~0,5mln civilians. Fucking revisionists.

  • @MakroTeh yeah you are just telling me numbers. what are you trying to get?

  • @037kondo

Sry I accidently replied to you insted of someone else crying about the allied bombings.

  • @037kondo

Oh no it was acctually you:

"Of course Japan broke so many laws of war. But so did Russia, Germany and the USA. "The winner get to write the history books, and hide their war crimes." and more of such comments.

You can't compare the war crimes of the axis and those of the allies.

  • @MakroTeh

Im not crying over any allied bombings. Thats just how war is. Thats why I hate it when people bring in "Facts" about which country committed more crimes, which country had more casualties and tell me why those countries were evil but these countries were heroic. WWII happened before I was born. Man we dont go talking about what the Persians did 1500 years ago just to dis the Arabic people. I didnt side for any countries, I just dont want to hear one-sided statements about history

  • @037kondo

First of all the US didn't commit any considerable war crimes and I thought you would be so smart to deduct it from the statistics. The bombings were a necessary and helped to end the war, probably saving even more civilians. A war crime is for example the Rape of Nanjing.

Secondly there is no hidden truth about US war crimes. USA is an open and democratic country and there is a shitload of movies about the bombings.

  • @MakroTeh

But on the other hand how documentaries are there about the German war crimes in Easter Europe (none), or about the Japanese war crimes on Asians? This is the truth that will never reach people.

  • @MakroTeh

Also yes Japan and Germans do try to hide their past in their country because they are shameful atrocities. But you mean to tell me that they are the only countries trying to hide the past?? You think US won the war playing all Nice like gentlemen? You know the WWII history you read today were not based by the Japanese or from German records. If the Axis had written the texts "history" of WWII would have been different. history is not all truth, its only perspective

  • @MakroTeh

How do you know that? Do you believe that US has not committed any crimes today in Iraq either? Do you believe everything that your country says, everything that the internet and your history books say to be true? Dont you feel its a bit coincidental that in almost all cases, the losing side always get the "Evil" role and that winning side never does Anything wrong

Im not mad about the US bombing Japan the hell out. I agree with you that it probably saved more lives in the end.

  • @037kondo

but it is not fair for you to deny your own crimes while trying to mention the crimes of your victors.

First, YOU need to 100% accept your own crimes before you talk about others. Or else you seem like sore loser and hypocrites.

  • @jaha111

I never ever denied any crimes from any country. I stated many times of the shame in horrendous crimes committed by the Axis. I think you misread my comments. Im not biased to any countries, I just don't take any stand. Thats is why I will also mention about the crimes of Allies as much as the Axis.

  • @037kondo In WWII the US didn't. And in that same warthe USSR didn't much either. After it, they all did. But with Germany, it was vice-versa.

  • @FighterGuDude3214

Systematically targeting civilians is not against the rules of war eh?

  • @Suojeluninja Not against the rules of Total War, no. (I hate using that technicality.)

  • @037kondo true, history is written by the victors.

  • i think theyre just talking about there current laws of engagement under the constitution written after the war

  • my bad i know what you mean now lol.

  • No, it was the WWII era Japanese that said this.

  • Was there really a Zero variant with biplane styled wings and floats? This would be an interesting aircraft if so.

  • They had a plane like that, but it wasn't a variant of the Reisen (Zero).

  • yeah it's called a "rufe" fighter

  • Does anyone know if this show is dubbed in english?

  • It is, although very poorly.

  • freaking hell ( 4:20 ) THAT guy is at the root of all evil in this anime, and manages to screw everything up !

  • i dont get it like after a while if they ere attacked enough they would kinda be screwed over in the end i mean theres no way to rearm it aside from the 5" gun which wont be much help if a CL would get into range so all in all they just what changed it for a little bit? thier axis allies arnt getting anything i just fail to see the point of them even going back

  • Ehm, if you'd go and destroy everything you get on your radar at WW2 in your timetraveled 21st century missile cruiser, you'd end up changing the history and maybe causing time paradox, aka killing your grandfather before she met your grandmother etc etc.

They actually do the right thing to stay out of the war to the best of their ability.

  • to bad they already changed history;

ex1: the gato class submarine did not in real life encountere a new ship with advanced weapons.

ex 2: yamamoto's task force did not in real life sight a warship bearing the rising sun with never before seen manuverability and speed without a hint of smoke from the "smokestacks"

  • OH!! you got me good there Darn, please do explain to me why is the story backwards, dark and evil like you said it is?. i really dont understand people sometimes, this is only a fictional anime nothing more and nothing less

  • what is the name of this animation? it is very attractive to me!

  • "ZIPANG"

  • One of reasons Japan had no chance of winning that war. Highly skilled, seasoned aircrew felt that it was glorious to die in battle. They were next to impossible to replace. The best aircraft in the world are useless without trained aviators.

Americans, would return the crews that had seen combat and stayed alive. There advice and tips were treated as GOSPEL by trainee aviators.
