Coming from a mother who at one point had, had it with her daughter's lies, stealing etc, Cindy sounds like a mom that's done with Casey-done until she realizes Caylee's gone. After her initial "OMG Casey what have you done!" comment, Casey being thrown in jail & denying their visits, Casey managed to cast doubt on their original thoughts & gain control. It's played out like the husband who's obviously cheating & the wife who keeps apologizing for accusing him & going back. It's such a sad story

Not sure either. I knew a police officer who said that it was a smell he couldn't quite explain but the closest he could say was like sick onions I guess a sickly sweet putrid smell, and one that you could not get rid of no matter how much you showered or washed.

Years ago an old guy died in the same apartment I lived in, on the same floor a few doors down the hall. He wasnt found for a week and I got to tell you when I smelled that smell I knew that something was dead and rotting. I thought it was an animal until I found out the real story. It is a smell that you can taste, it smells almost sweet in a wierd kind of way, but not a good sweet if that makes sense? I will never ever forget that smell/taste as long as I live. Nothing else smells like death!

I know EXACTLY what u mean. I had a neighbor that died & he was in this trailer w heat on for 7 days. (in FL, it's cooler @ nite & got warm during the day) When I smelled it, it was a sweet/pungent death odor. It STAYS w u no matter what & u never ever forget that scent. Not even a dead animal smells like a dead human being. Not another smell on this Earth like it, very distinguishable & distinct odor. Once you have smelled this odor, you never, ever forget it....EVER!

I hear you! I am in my 20s and I went out one night (3 years ago or so) and stayed at a friends house...my mom called my cell about 20 times, called all my friends and finally I picked up when she called. She burst into tears and said she was 10 min away from going to the police.

The mgr at the tow yard must certainly did look in to the trunk which George, even removing a piece of trash he later tried to recover after learning it may be of some importance. He also indicated the smell on a scale of 1-10 was a 7 . . if Caylees rotting body was present, it must certainly would have registered a 10, no?

Hmm, that's a good point. The mgr also pointed out the smell grew worse over time . . and the tow truck guy who intially got the car said he did not detect an odor . . . (because of his cold apparently) Even so, the stink obviously grew worse over time . . would a body have to be present for that to happen?

I think George put the body in the back yard, then Casey took it to the wooded area, then the storm took it away to the underbrush, then no one knew where Caylee was until the meter reader found the bag. All the A/s could honestly say that they did not know where Caylee was for that time.

Perhaps Cindy put Caylee in the trunk then sent CA away out of the home,then CA said she thinks her dad must have hit a squirl (now knowing body is in trunk & really not knowing where Caylee is..so she parties on.. until..she opens the trunk later too see what smells..& realizes SHE must have done something terrible wrong.. now to discard the body..and Cindy yells, "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?" when Cindy knows it was not Casey that did wrong, but Casey bears all the guilt onto herself.

I believe the conspiricy started when Cindy went to Tony's apartment to get Casey cause Casey stole Amy's money & casey's mom did not even ask, "Where's Caylee?" Was she so hammered about the MONEY that she forgot to ask about Caylee? And tht was the same day that the car was brought back from impound.... hmmm.. I think the body was in the car then.... and no one knew where Casey was until Amy calls, and Cindy shows her to Tony's... the body had been moved to the yard by the time Lee shos up.

When Casey questions her mom "you don't know what my involvement is?" she does so in frustration, dissapointed to learn her mother, on TV, asserted she does not know what her daughter's involvement is. Clearly Casey was pisesd that Cindy did not immediately proclaim her daughter's innocence. Casey was mad that her mom didn't go on TV and back her up right away, that's all.

Great question about the chloroform. If it can be used to rid DNA I would think it was Casey that used it, not George though. George is the one who stated in a police interview that he knows what decomposition smells like & he feared opening the trunk fearing it could be Caylee or Casey. I don't think he would have been waving the *smell of decomposition in the trunk* flag,to the detectives, had he been trying to cover that very thing up.

My theory..Cindy attacks Casey when she tells her Caylee is dead in the backyard, lies and says it was an accident, when it was either Xanax or chloroform (maybe even at the A's home where Casey would sneak back in when they were gone and used duct tape to keep Caylee quiet and drugged). The A's then get busy with the cover-up with Cindy in the lead, conspiracy begins with 911 calls.

I can see one of those flurry of calls made on 6/16 or later for that matter, connecting with george. If not then, sometime betw. 6/20-24.
