US National Anthem with Berimbau

I'd like to hear the Brazilian National Anthem.

it's a bit weird to me... given that capoeira is a brazilian sport it would have been more appropriate to sing the brazilian anthem instead. but then again, i understand since the batizado is for american capoeristas (:

Actually, the brazilian anthem was sung right after the american anthem, it just wasnt included here.

Also, a batizado and troca de cordoes are generally for all capoeiristas practicing regional style of capoeira , not just Americans.

Interesting! The berimbau's rhythm is certainly the anchor as the singers are often very flat. I liked it! :)
