I used to live two blocks away from the Sunabe sea wall from Aug 1990 to September 1992 next to that local grocery store (lived on Camp Foster from October 1992 to August 1993).

I know that grocery store. My wife and I shopped in that local store many times. We lived on Camp Lester behind the Navy Hospital.
We spent 4 great years on Okinawa from Jul 90- Jul 94.
I spent 3 years of HELL there thanks to my (now) ex-wife. One good thing was that my 16 year old son was born at the Navy hospital on Camp Lester.
