  • Where are the scantily clad women shaking thick thighs?

  • who's the bass player? Gene Wright?

  • Brubeck.....so famous and talented, yet plays his piano while seated on a dining room chair! Kudos to the late Joe Morello as well.....what a drummer!

  • I love the little pit on his faces when is blowing to his saxophone :-))

  • This drum solo is so casual! <3 (4:32)

  • FUCKIN BARRY MAN

  • Paul Desmond is still not given enough credit as a great sax player.

  • @PaulGreen11 he wrote "take five" one of the most known jazz tunes in history, and my personal favourite...how much more credit can he get?all the people who truly enjoy jazz know who he is,and that's good enough for me.

  • @johnydeltablues: I know who Paul Desmond IS. I know "take five" and and lots of Brubeck. "Maria" is my favorite piece. My post says he's, "a great sax player."

  • four absolute musical magicians!!!

  • Hahahahaha - only Paul Desmond could fit Exodus into St. Louis Blues. (:37 - :42)

  • IN MINOR!1 YEEES!!!!

    God bless these guys!

  • Wow Please give Eugene wright some love too he's the bass player !

    Lovely music btw

  • 4:40 Apparently, after kicking Neo's ass for the day, Agent Smith would relax by playing drums for Dave Brubeck. Go figure.

  • "St Louis Cool Jazz" is more like it.

  • @tromboneJTS: xD maybe

  • blues??? didn't hear very many blue notes in this piece.

  • @tromboneJTS : Paul simply doesn't need them! And he did use em!

  • So Fabulous!

  • Thank you for posting this I love Paul's solo its a great number by the quartet they would open a concert with this number, They did when I saw them in 1961

  • I am searching for a version of this tune in Brucbeck's "jazz goes to junior college." Has anyone heard of this?

  • @ushekim I have just looked through my old lp collection and have the one to which you refer..It is an English release on the Fontana(Phillips) label. Very good performances.

  • @4205lr is this a slower-bluesy take, quite unlike the other hurried versions, including Brubeck's Greatest Hits reissue?

  • @ushekim Yes, this is probably the version you are thinking of.. Excellent(as always) solo by Paul Desmond.

  • @ushekim its on itunes i think. i know its a long time ago but i thought i would tell you.
