What! An airport bus on a normal commuter route? This brings back my memory taking Citybus 2118 on 118 before being transferred to airport route system.
By the way, are all 863.3 on Citybus MANs being replaced by 864.3 like NLB?
If it had the D851.2 or D851.3 originally the replacement transmission should be a D854.3 or D854.5 going by the engine's horsepower and torque ratings.
The rear end that served the D851 would have been replaced if the transmission is a 4-speed with overdrive.

now is replaced by ordinary volvo olympian
and i heard that these MAN are still operating on 1 morning departure on the 969B

Try to sit in the centre or front of the bus. Recording by the motor ang gearbox (rear part of the bus) causes low frequencies distorse recording.
