Although quantitative data on population sizes or trends are lacking, it is suspected that the global population of Sun Bears has declined by 30% over the past 30 years (3 bear generations).

The laws in my country are very stern on such illegality - they'll be sentenced with fines with jail terms. Hunting & gun licenses will be suspended. The tribal people who are paid to hunt will not be spared too.

the thing is that the children have nothing to do in the illegal pet trade and selling of animal organs. Educating children is all well and good but one must attack the market to stop this. I don't know how to do such a thing so it's easier said then done but maybe with the help of the right people that know how this business works one can manage to aim new laws for forest conservation, and provide jobs for otherwise potential poachers with no alternatives to be more interested in conservation.
@Saynotoegoism As the old saying goes:"'Can't teach old dogs new tricks'' So, educating the children about nature, habitats, conservations etc. would help.

Hey Jas. It is a beautiful video. Such a shame that this is happening to animals all around the world and of different species. Les plus blâmables ne sont pas les braconniers qui, pour survivre, ont besoin de chasser. Ceux-là devraient être aidés.
