  • Excellent compilation and great camera work, best regards to you.

  • Thanks for posting - enjoyed it enormously.

  • Another super video. I was filming from the train and thought that 6201 was making rather light work of Gomshall bank.

  • Fantastic video really enjoyed it 5*

  • @ffeog4568 Thank you, i'm glad you enjoyed it.

  • The shots of 6201 steaming through the station are breathtaking and to me remind me of some old film of the British Pullman back in the 1950's. Breathtaking

  • @Mikelandscaper Thanks for your comments i'm glad you enjoyed it. 6201 certainly produced a stunning soundtrack in the dark.

  • An outstanding and interesting combination of different Pacific motive power. Catching that Princess must of been tricky 'cause of harsh weather that day. So unsual to see a Princess Royal engine so far south. Getting Clan Line looked terrific, and a nice ending with them horses and an iron horse passing by!

  • @GreatWestern175 Thanks Ryan. The weather wasn't really a problem with 6201 but the first location was pretty average after a long walk and the second produced a coasting run past. The night shots made up for it though. The horses shot was pre planned but getting them to play ball and stand in the right place was a nightmare. Then a few spots of rain on the lens spoilt it all. Never mind it sounded good.

  • Delightful video guys, as usual :)

I was thinking of going to Guildford for Lizzie but as it happened I didn't have enough time to get there so had to settle for a couple of shots either side of the Challow water stop.

    5* of course

  • @steamvideo Thanks Bill. If you had gone to Guildford that might have been all you got. We set off in pursuit from Wanborough heading for Challow but with 25 minutes to departure time we had only reached Reading so we gave up.

  • great vid 5* martyn i saw 6201 pass my school in the morning then saw her at wanborough and chilworth in evening. then saw clan line at chilworth the next day

  • @73096std5 Thanks Matt. Steam often passes where i work in Feltham so i hope like me you stood on a roof with all your mates to view it. ps. You must have passed me on the end of the platform at Chilworth.

  • @1Z64 yes i did pass you on the end of the platform but had no idea it was you. Also i live round the guildford area and im always out to see clan line. but i have seen her at every place between woking and guildford do you know any really good vantage points to get a good view of her and where she is working hard.

  • Brilliant video enjoyable watching 5*

  • @EMuksteam Thanks mate it was an enjoyable two days filming.

  • great video!

i was at chilworth as well.

    she sounded splendid!

    5*

  • @andyg3 Thanks, it certainly was a magnificent sound.

  • Every clip a Master Class in Railway filming Martyn....superb production and clarity from that new camera, the last clip with the horses train spotting was superb.......5* Bob

  • @robmasterman Cheers Bob. I checked out the horse shot some weeks ago and that feeder wasn't there. Luckily on the day the horses were standing round it otherwise it would have just been in the way.

  • Hi 1Z64

Beautiful clip.I wanted to see both trains but was unable to do so.They both looked very good.Thank you.
