@187781jason ok so now i just installd crysis 2 and with dx 9 and gamer config its working pretty well just some places lagging a little but its running good :D oh and the less detailed version is a good idea if someone have a low-end computer that can run the game then it would be good for them and just saw a great mod yesterday and what if you can play the game with co-op options like 2 players but with harder difficulty and with more pickups but the greatest: free roam feeling

Well progress is going very well there are now 5 members with a 6th on it's way. The team consists of 3 level designers and developers, custom sound guy, musical composer and soon a 3d modeller. We are looking at a late 2012 completion date and will keep all interested posted :)

The conversion wit consist of approx 12 playable levels, with uniqe gameplay styles and story. With each level approx half an hour or long, you can exspect at least a 6hr game :)

nice ideas guys! some suggestions:

- would advice to change the sounds of the gun

- change the Crysis2 HUD to something original

- make sure shooting isn't the only gameplay aspect

@RemovdSande11 Unfortunately, the mod SDK doesn't allow for HUD modification at the moment. In the future, Scaleform is apparently intended to be implemented (which would allow custom HUDs to be created) but until then, modders are stuck with the current one.

Though there is a Crysis 2 weapon sound mod that was quite popular, so they could look into that if possible.

The mod is obviously in heavy development, so a lot is probably going to be improved. But you do realize not everyone has powerful machinery so I'm sure they don't want to go that much into detail in risk of low performance.

What astounded me was your object placement and use of lighting. Your art has actual impact on gameplay! The player navigates a terrain while looking for threats, so spatial awareness and sight are what the design should cater to. Bungie have understood this a long time ago. Crytek just about get the visual aspect ;) but they often ignore the flow of action. Sometimes even the architecture seems to be arranged randomly in Crysis 2. Looking forward to playing this though, never stop modding!
