Real easy to pick up this game and for the most part if you havnt let more than a year pass by you can probably pick up your old character/s and use them. If you want a console to play it on buy a 360 and buy the new vanadiel collection. It has all expansions and addons up to date. Sorry I designated a 360 but its the only console that continues to have collections come out each year than the PS2 which is increasingly hard to find the expansion discs for.
If i were to play this game again. And go back to my Warrior/Monk i dont know if i would. It seems very time consuming. Perhapes later on ill get back on it, im busy with Hellgate London right now, so.. perhapes ill join again another time. *Odin Server*
why would I laugh? I've always said it seems that despite a tarutaru's lack of STR they seem to have a hidden attack bonus. I've seen tarutaru hit alot harder then elvaans in the exact same gear half the time, so I dunno lol

you have to buy it but its fairly cheap I believe, you can get the Vana'diel Collection 2008 which contains ALL current expansions for like 30$ or somethin like that. FFXI is also $12.95 per month :)
lol oh yeah >.> forgot about that lol; a friend of mine showed me how to .dat mod I have nude mods too... but I don't play on PC much lol so I just havent' been bothered to unmod that, anyway. Thats the Walahra Turban xD modded it into a very cute tail ribbon lol
for the record, my friend put the nude mods on my PC, thats how they showed me how to do it, since I don't play on PC much I just never was bothered to unmod them lol
well its true lol I play on Ps2 version mainly, I mostly use PC to well, make my vids obviously lol. sometimes when my friend is over they usually play on PC though, since I have the Ps2. ah well lol
That's the reward of great efforts that we make in vanadiel that lets us enjoy the results when time passes, and we can look back and see it was worth it :)
