I caught this classic again this morning--EARLY this morning, 'round 5a.m. (August 1st, 2010)--on THIS. Haven't seen it since last October (when I saw it twice in a week--on THIS). But this film is definitely an NYC classic. Yeah, it's laughable by today's standards, but its still great. Michael Winslow (of "Police Academy" fame) played probably his only serious acting role ever. And Jami Gertz (who recently did "Entourage," last year in '09) was the cute sis... Too bad Vin Spano never made it.

The same year he produced the multi platinum 2nd Madonna LP "Like a virgin".

Nile Rodgers is actually trying to get the soundtrack from Island to license and relaese it.

I found this on vhs back in the 90's, in an obscure video store.

I thought the acting and location scenes were great, but the plot and script were lousy.

Based on this trailer, i'm gonna buy this movie tomorrow...I remember some of it from when I was a kid. Love the awesome 80's cheese. The narrator's voice kicks ass!

Yeah, it's one of my favorite trailer voice narrators. He also did the voiceover for the trailers for XTRO, Inseminoid, Mother's Day, Scalps, Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2, and a ton of others.
