  • hey be nice to the kid, he actually went out of his way to try to put this video together and help YOU solve YOUR problem. If you pause and read the beginning he gives you a general idea of how to fix it.

  • Yes, please could you make a video on how you did it. Also could you please tell me what type of jack you used - maybe post a link if you can, and epically exactly how you attached the wire to the jack. Thanks if you can help!!!!!!!

  • make a video on how to fix it

  • i could make a video but i wouldnt use my drums probably just a piece of wire but i will think about it.

  • dude the same happened to me too.

so i have an audio jack.

and the only thing that happened to my drum set was that the jack got pulled off of the wires on.

Do i have to have soldering iron and solder?

plz comment back i want my ghwt drums fixed.

  • No you don't have to have a soldering iron but the wires are below the guages on the wire strippers so you have to strip enough wire to loop the wire thru the loop and bend it so it will not come out once that is done put the audio jack back together and test.

Any more questions leave a comment.

  • Continued

Then the cord was to short so we had to take apart my drum set base and take some more slack out of the wire.

Then we screwed it back into place and it was finished

Any more question just leave a comment.

  • Hi I have the Same thing happen to me... can you please tell me how your Dad fixed it ? Thank you

  • My dad bought an audio jack from radio shack.(see video i added annotation) My dad then had to strip the wire even more(he said he that we could had used the soldering iron to melt it insulation off but ours shorted out) He kept stripping the very small wire until around 3/4 of an inch(1/2 of an inch and over is good) he then wrapped it around the audio jack(it has a hole in the middle and we threaded it thru and wrapped it around)
