Om te zeggen dat Dzjengis Khan het grootste rijk ooit bestaan heeft veroverd, is inderdaad historisch niet correct. Het waren zijn opvolgers die het rijk die legendarische omvang gaven. Het is aannemelijk dat het rijk van Dzjengis Khan bij zijn dood ongeveer de helft of drie vierde van die definitieve uitbreiding bedroeg.

Om te zeggen dat Dzjengis Khan nooit bestaan heeft, is niet echt weloverwogen: zijn kleinzoon Kubilai startte een nieuwe dynastie in China, en andere nakomelingen zetten grote Khanaten verder in Centraal-Azië en dichter naar Europa. Uit deze Khanaten groeiden andere grote rijken, zoals dat van Timur (basis te Samarkand).

Kazaks weren't even a people until the 15th century, 2 centuries after Genghis Khan's rise. Just because Genghis Khan was a Mongol doesn't mean he can't be a hero to Kazaks though. We are all Altaics anyway.

Which part of him was mongolian? At that time word "Mongol" even didn't exist. But word "Min qol" in Kazakh means thousand of hands which make sense because Turkic Nomads divided army on thousand then on hundred then on tenth. It is not a secret that Mongol (Min qol) was a political-military union of certain TURKIC tribes such as KEREI, DZHALAIR, NAIMAN, KONGIRAT, SIRGELI and so on.

One more thing, it is not a secret that Genghis (Shingyz) Khan's mother was from tribe Konirat and his wife Borte was from tribe Zhalair. Both of this tribes are consist of Kazakh ethnic, Konirat from Orta zhuz (middle horde) and Zhalair from Uly zhuz (Grand hord). But his origin nowadays is blurred but there are so many indisputable evidence that he was from one of nowadays Kazakh tribes. Even name Shingyz of Turkic origin and common among Kazakhs, how can you argue with that.

Kazaks always claim that the tribes of Merkit, Zhailar, and Naiman were not Mongolian, but what do those words mean in Kazak? The truth is those words are Mongolian and have the same meaning now as they used to back then. The Turkic tribes of Eastern Altai were different from the ones on the western side.

Kazaks didn't exist before th 15th century just like how Mongols didn't exist before the 13th century. That was a clan, his tribe was Mongol. Mongol was a tribe just like Kerait, Naiman, Merkit, Onggirat, etc. After he united all the Altaic tribes, he named them all under his own tribe.

I don't understand why you get all angry over Kazaks saying Genghis Khan was Kazak. It may be wrong historically, but not racially. Kazaks and Mongols today are the same race and look extremely similar compared to other Asian countries. So while Genghis Khan was the same race as us Mongols and Kazaks, his tribe was Mongol and we just happen to use the same name for our country, big deal.

Khalkha is a very stupid term and used by exclusionists like you. The truth is Khalkha was made up in the 18th century to designate the Mongol "barrier" troops who sided with the Manchu against the Western Oirats. Khalkha itself has nothing to do with the times of Genghis Khan.

No, Temmujin was a Mongol, a distinctive people from Mongolia, a nation northeast of China. Okinawans look Chinese, but try calling them that, they'll kick your butt! They are their own people, just as the Mongolians were their own people.
also, his title was GENGHIS KHAN, which means Great Leader in MONGOLIAN, a language which did not exist in written form until Temmujin created an alphabet for them.

You seem to forget other systems of writing... President Putin of Russia is Putin in English, but Poetin in Dutch, just as well as Genghis is written differently in other languages and script types than the original. Chris for example, could be sth like 'kris' in greek.
