please guys help me out, I have 2 budgies!! and I want to get them out of the cage like this cute budgie but they get scared and everytime i just put my finger inside the cage they scared and they dont like it, how can I let them feel comfortable about me and trust me? HELP

@neewafa get some millet spray/spray millet and hold it loosely in your hand. let them come to u. eventually, put your finger under their belly just above their feet and push back, which will make them step up onto ur finger. slowly move them around after theyre comfortable. if they freak out when they see u taking them out of the cage, u may just have to grab their body when u want to take them out. u can also use a wooden perch stick instead of ur finger, buy one from a pet store.

I Love him!!! He reminds me sooo much of my bird Elijah Blue. You have a really smart budgie.....so cute too!!! I wish my little budgie Ira (cg) was that in love with my finger nails LOL. I have to use a butterfly net to capture him for bedtime lol... he was not handtame from the family run petstore I adopted him from so is still getting used to my hands.(just the big birds are)

He likes the butterfly net better than my bare hand or a gloved hand, if anyone needs to capture a wilder budgie use a net at night,esp if you are not quick enough to safely grab them, they can't see well in the dark.

budgies doesn't like all words so you have to say many different words many times to him every day when he do stuff, but the budgie have to hear it. What i did was: I said 3 word all the time when i was with the bird and many other words not that often so he can say the word he likes because then he would say it sooner.
