How did you mount the DOT helmet inside? did you use an adhesive to keep it bonded to the halo helmet. also I was thinking about using a full face helmet but not sure if it will work. could you maybe give advise being that you have already done the project yourself I am open for your opinion or suggestions. Thanks in advance
Oh and I have an idea for the visor make a double visor one clear one shaded with a slide tab in the front so you can slide the whole visor to the right. Or you can create a double wall on the top to slide the visor up
Omg I had a whole message and it just got erased anyway the basic was I am making a helmet for myself and my friend wanted a motorcycle one and your video has been the most helpful. Thank you for that the only junk part for me is that the smooth on site does not ship to Hawaii but the re directed me to the distributor. If you have anymore tips especially on makin the motorcycle helmet message me if you get the chance thanks
hey man!! great project, ever think of joining the 405th just sigh up and we can help solve most of your problems and help others interested in what you are doing. :)
A sport bike. The Suzuki GSX-R750. It's a blue&white 750cc 4-stroke. It's a pre-owned 2009 model. It's virtually brand new. It was always garage stored and it only has 300 miles on it.
The guy and his wife just had a new baby, and due to some financial problems, he had to sacrifice the bike. Higher priorities, you know.
I got it for $9k even. It's nearly $12k brand new so I got a little bit of a savings there. Not too bad of a deal. I've already taken it for a test run. I love it!! :-)
awesome... great deal! the master motorcycle helmet has been a really cool project and i'm sure that i will be making more. i will be posting more video on the finished helmet soon.
Cool. I got me a jet ski too, A Sea-Doo RXP215. That thing is a beast. It has a whopping 215hp supercharged 4-TEC engine.
You do not want to fly off this thing at full throttle, believe me. You'll be black and blue for weeks and will probably be knocked out cold when you hit the water.
The ski can easily do 70+MPH. It's hard to control at those speeds. And since you have no brakes, it requires a very long stopping distance
Costs more than the bike. $14k, still making payments on it. LOL
Not quite. My wife and I just make good money. Well over $100k a year. I'm an IT manager and she's a lawyer. Plus I build and repair PCs for people as a side job here and there for a little extra dough ;-)
hey tks for the input... i tried the mirror blue but you can see my face thru it so i've decided to go with the smoke black. i looks really good now that i have added some battle damage (next video coming soon).

Out of curiosity, how many layers of the smooth cast did you put in the inside of the helmet to get it strong like that?
