That was John Amato. I have no idea if the video exists, I don't think John ever did anything with it. But all you'd see of me is the flip cam in front of my face, and Matt Stoller sitting next to me with a look of impatient horror.
(sigh) All i can say is that I was horrified when MY Senator (Boxer) went to Joe's aid when he called in the favors when behind in his Senatorial re-election campaign several years ago.

Boxer's office released a statement after the vote that she did not support Joe keeping his gavel.
I read this as kabuki because she's up for reelect in 2010 and wants support from the base.
She could have released a statement of her intentions when it mattered, before the vote, but didn't. But if the vote would have been close, I expect she would have backed Joe.
