The only way to end poverty is to bring freedom and democracy to all the countries on Earth, only under a free capitalist society with open free-markets and respect for the property, the rights and the liberty of its citizens we can end the injustices and bring prosperity and wealth to poor countries.
The West has been saying exactly that for the past 50 years or so. The mess has gotten bigger, millions of people are still starving in a world of plenty. We can now witness around us if we leave things up to "the market", because there is no level playing field. Governments and citizens need to do their part in ensuring justice and freedom for ALL.
@gaartsen cuz it's step two not one we can assist them in building schools and houses hospitals ect... then worry about a good government so they can maintain a good economy on their own
@Wraith23 that's how they can maintain it independently we can end it by spending money toward ending poverty instead of spending it on blowing them up
@Wraith23 I believe ending poverty starts by asking how we can share wealth, rather than concentrate it in 5% of the population. I think it involves examining all possibilities with creativity and negotiating around present challenges created as a result of differences that may divide us or bring us commonalities of mutual understanding.
only reason u r fuck!ng talking is because no one would listen to u if u said it in real life, hope this saves somebody';s mind from getting pollutated
I consider it a political and social crime that a poor or middle class family be prohibited by POLITICIANS from getting decent modern housing by negating property ownership through politicaly engineered hyper-inflation and taxation.

Does anyone know the explanations for not reaching Lester B. Pearson's end poverty goal? I think that could provide some insight.

The rule should be...if you don't have any money, don't have children.
Why don't people do this? Because they are young and want to do it. Can we change that? No.
So we should just not talk about it.

What if conditions don't allow you to earn any money, such as the dictates of IMF and World Bank, and EU/US trade barriers?
Real freedom goes hand in hand with justice for all.

@gaartsen That depends on what you mean by freedom. For me, freedom means what I CAN CHOOSE to do for myself and my fellow man.
