I am connected with high speed internet, dual processors, and 3GB of system memory and 4GB of flash memory (ty vista ready boost)and a semi decent graphics card. But, during public matches I'm always getting shot through walls or slashed by a katana from outrageous distances. I think that's mostly cross-platform lag though.
For Vista (PC), there's NO monthly fee to play online against other PC users, just the cost of the game. You may SUBSCRIBE to xBox LIVE to play against xbox users.
dude these people are all bots... killing them isnt hard. Try doing it against real people who play the game.

depends on their computers. hes prolly running a single core processor
im running 4gb of ram 3.8ghz dual core processor. and i get NO lag. at all. and i got high speed internet
