i gotta huge question. has anyone that you know of ever took a rock crawler setup and put a nitro engine on it? for some reason i think it would be a good idea. but the only prob i see would be the gearing. cuz it seems that a rock crawler is geared way lower than a nitro

i really like that radio, wish it was 2.4Ghz though.. Do you think I can get one and use on a different crawler with steering on both axels? That should work I think, but not quite sure.. It is 3 channel but does it have an 3ch switch(aux) or is the 3rd ch the switch between steering options?

I just bought the big brother (rockslide) off of ebay for 150 used. It's in excelent shape and has 2 bats with a second controller. I am very pleased with this rig. I too and new to crawling but not to R/C in general. I have a few planes and heli and such as well. Can you say when they will be putting out a Aluminum kit for these crawlers? (The RS10 & Rockslide). I Looked at the site and there are replacement parts but no hopups as of yet. Thanks for the info and the vid!

There are few hop ups parts for RS-10. No idea when metal kits will come out. for RS-10 a metal cage version is available. I love the big one actually that thing is powerful and real good crawler :) Small RS-10 is cute and a little bugger that can compete with big one easily

well my man crawling is not bout speed. its bout climbing up n down the rocks so we really can't afford speed. but this one is powerful :)

well this little one is my favorite. its lite yet it has real strong grip and I did not feel that this is underpowered. YOu have all the power in your hands, for rock crawling. after 8 or 9 minutes yes when battery is running out, you get some underpowered feeling. but thats natural right :) I am sure you will love it. I play with it all times even at home :D

my man. There are few things that I don't know n I study them as they come up. Now I sure do know what is AX10. However I am sure RS-10 is more affordable and still will compete on stock setup very well.

the axial is similar in size, minor differences, but close. Most of the 1/10th scale rigs run an axle to axle wheelbase of 10.5 to 12.5 inches. My 1/12th scale wheely king is considered more of a 1/10th scale now simply because of the modifications i made to it.

That rock crawler is sweet man and the 4 steering modes must make this a must for any rock crawler r/c driver because if i got into this sport that would be the one for me,for sure 5*

They are real great n really very useful. I did another rock crawling using this one, (video will be up in few days) during that crawling sometime I had to think where to put the front or rear tires for better traction n these 4 steering mode really helped. :) Cheers.

it's a crawler, :) It is not designed to go fast. But this one has a bit faster speed compared to 1/8 scale super crawler, Just wait till super crawler video is up and you will see that one is real awesome :)
