i was sitting on the front strech when this happened and as far away as i was sitting u could see the back end of the car just explode like it was nothing. goodyear has to get a tire that will last with the new car

I really hope it was somthing he ran over on the track and not the car and or tire. (even though we all know thats an issue) I would hate to see Indy all over again.

No, its not the surface. We have seen this all year long at a lot of different tracks. Its the new car, putting more weight on the right side of the car, I dont think goodyear has well prepared this year for the tire package on these new cars this year.

yea its more of the car than anything else, but still goodyear was prepared in the spring because there were no problems then, and no problems in the inagural cot race at dega one year ago, so its kinda up in the air. though goodyear officials did say that this tire failure was most likely due to running over debris, i find it hard to believe there was that much debris on the track alllll weekend long, its happened in arca, trucks, and cup so far. i hope ir resolves itself before tomorow:D
