thanks Kelley.......well you could always get large sheets of cotton canvas - paint them wild colours and then staple them to thin pieces of wood which you could hang from the ceiling! I would do that!

Hi again V! I want to know something.... Is it ever possible to frown in your home? Hmmmm? I think if I had a colourful canopy over my bed like you I could never again have an excuse to wake up...uhm... GRuMpY! (I am not a morning person).
Thank you! You know you can always buy a secondhand door and paint it - put it up and keep the old door....seriously. Then if you decide to sell your house put the old door up. That's what i was going to do if i eventually sold my cottage. Another option is to buy "doorskin", paint it and velcro it or screw it into the existing door!
your home is a work of art!! i wish my husband would let me paint the doors...we have five doors upstairs off the main hall...it would be so cool! great video!
