all the wwf tag teams in the mid to the late 1980's were all overrated. none of them dominate one another and they all had the belts once maybe twice. midnight express, road warriors and steiner brothers all dominated. the rockers were a jober tag team. the greatest players in sports are recognized by their stats and championship, that why the hart foundation (two title reigns) and the british bulldogs (one titles reign) are overrated.

It came really close to happening... They had met with McMahon in the 80s, but decided to stay with WCW. Keep in mind, this is when McMahon still believed tag teams to be important. They would've been pushed well.

The MX used this theme as early as 1989, though they seemed to bounce back and forth between themes for whatever reason. By the time Eaton went solo, this was the only theme he used.

The NWA needs to start its own HOF so that travesties like these guys, Randy Savage & several others being excluded are corrected. I know many guys like Savage never wrestled in the NWA, but WWE inducted wrestlers & announcers who never worked for it (Nick Bockwinkle, Gordon Solie, and Eddie Graham) & even non-wrestlers like Refrigerator William Perry & Pete Rose (which takes away the WWE's HOF credibility). There needs to be a true HOF that has no bias against wrestlers who McMahon didn't like.
