Sorry, my English is better anyways :-) What I was trying to ask was.... I live in San Diego and wanted to know when Baja tourism will be safer for us? I haven't been to Tijuana or Ensenada for two years because of the increasing violence. There is still a Travel Warning from the U.S. State Dept.. When does Mexico think it will be safer to travel there? thank you

Not sure when will it be good. We went for just 1 day bus trip and came back. So if you would like to go like that, you may not have any problem. But now Govt is warning about Flu, so you have to be careful.

@Bitsonpieces79 Just to say as an American living here in Baja...it's a great place with wonderful people, a warm community and for the most part safe! So much bad press has hurt us & while it's true there are drug related issues if one is not involved in that mischief they go their way unmolested. Please don't hesitate to visit

Are you kidding me? The only way I am going to Baja is feet first. Fortunatley many Americans feel the same way. Sure it is safer the further south you go but I have heard of people being robbed in Rosarito... by Police officers !!!.... Yes... I am not kidding. They were taken to am ATM and handed over what they withdrew,...... Amazing....
