i just noticed a big difference between 'castlevania lament of innocence' and its pal version titled 'Castlevania' only..this is alot faster in terms of gameplay..whereas the pal version is so freakin slow in executing combos and running..definitely gonna get this game (NTSC version) for the sake of the fast whipping action with the vampire killer, the only weapon I have ever used to clock it coz i love hearing the crackle of that whip..so cool, i have neva used sub weapons...lol .=)

I still think this and Curse of darkness had a better "castlevania" feel than the new Lord of Shadows.

Not a single potion was used! This is some AWESOME PLAY dude! I needed 3 regular potions against DEATH but notheing for Walter!

hmm....i suggest those of you who can go abck and duplicate a buncha diamonds and mana prisms plus alot of potions...and heart restores before fighting that idiot because the heart restores and the potions plus mana prisms will letcha use stuff like relics and sub weapons against him and only use the diamonds in emergancy situations k? lol...just from my experiance with other bosses thats always worked for me...but doesnt death send sub-weps back atcha?hmm...well if he does then dont use sub wep

Looks like it plays just like the n64 versions.

Castlevania should had stayed 2d cause it offers nothing special in 3d.

Yeah, even with Raccoon it still took a long time. I think I was using one Luck Coin and the other accessory that raises attack (Draupnir?).

Tell me about it. I almost gave up trying to get the IJ on Crazy, but I needed to grab it so I could beat Death without items. It took about 45 minutes of killing the lone Mirage Skeleton before the game had mercy on me.

I always loved it how Leon would get rocked by either Death or The Forgotten One such as the case at 2:33-2:36..... Even when I would be playing.

The whole general scenario which has Leon being knocked around like a ragdoll and would then proceed to get right back up is so badass!
