  • That's a good story. I do always wonder though why the Catholic schools don't let kids with Autism attend their schools.

  • thank u for sharing! what a blessing

  • I'm glad you found comfort in that story and I admire you for trying to comfort parents of AS children. But even as a Christian, I don't share your optimism at this time in my life. Because of the curse,God allows horrible things to happen to people -even people of faith. As I get older, I find it more difficult to accept and understand the suffering in this world. I guess we will someday, but I'm more than a little cynical at the moment. I'm on the spectrum myself and I wish I never existed.

  • @1LoneDesperado His story isn't over yet...and neither is yours! You do have a purpose here....so don't give up. You are here for a reason. Keep going, keep walking, keep trusting, keep reading His promises. He will be faithful to them. Every one. In prayer....kslangnc.

  • @1LoneDesperado I share asperger and shared your view on a curse. It feels terrible until I found my reason. My reason to be here. I need to have asperger. It's important. My views, I want to be normal. That view however has no future. I agree there is pain. It will take a while. Whatever skills you have show them. If this still doesn't help you I am still siding with you. It's hard and the feeling may stay with you forever.
