I have no problem looking at other's beliefs as I believe truth will stand when all else will fall,and so I choose to actively search out all things, the best I can because 'beliefs' have no real value unless they are supported by Truth. Id like to point out something just to have people think.What is the week to YHWH.You talk about the lunar this or sun that but the sun and moon were not created,we are told,till the 3rd DAY!! so how do you wrap your head around that.To me its easy.Look at the records back when our savior walked the earth.SATURDAY was the day kept as a weekly sabbath.It was the Catholic church that changed it to sunday.Up till then it was observed and kept on SATURDAY.Thats good enough in my mind.Ty for vid

The Jews of Christ's day used the acient luni-solar calendar of Creation. They did NOT use the Roman Julian calendar which, at that time, had an eight day week. Thanks for watching and studying. @Proph&Script PT 2: I would still like to encourage you to check out "Sunday in Roman Paganism". Yes, the pagans had a pantheon of MANY gods - but not all were known as planetary gods. Of those, there were only 7 & each was assigned an hr.in the day. The planetary god who fell on the first hour was god of that day. Thus, the Romans did not have a specific "day" of worship as we know it. If you needed help from a planetary god, you'd pray to him on his day.
I agree with you regarding the flipping of that image. I would not have done so myself. However, the fact remains that the original Sat. did not somehow morph into the modern Sun. If you'll look at the book I referenced, you'll discover documentation for Sat. originally being the first day of the week & the modern week not being standardized with Sun. as the first day of the week until the Council of Nicea in the 4th cent. AD.

When I asked why, the answer was because the planetary gods are not shown in the order of the days of the week, but rather in the order as the ancients believed them positioned from the earth. Saturn was believed furthest from the earth. The 2nd hr. of the day was assigned to the next god, & so forth. The last hr. of 1st day was given to Mars making the 1st hr. of the 2nd day, the day belonging to the Sun from which we get Sunday.
The planetary week originally began on Sat. and ended on Fri. I encourage you to keep studying. The modern planetary week was not standardized until the Council of Nicea in the 4th century.

The 7th day Sabbath is a commandment of the Most High. Pagan names were eventually given to the different days of the week. Saturn, the pagan god of time, was celebrated in a festival called Saturnalia from December 17 - 24 leading to the celebration of birthdays of pagan sun gods such as Mithra, Nimrod (Baal) and Tammuz on December 25 during which gift given was done! Oddly enough, both Nimrod and Tammuz were sons of the goddess of fertility, Semiramis, who is celebrated as Easter.

@asezuni, the sun doesn't rise or set? If you say so; however, Deuteronomy 24:15 and Mark 1:32 do talk about the setting of the sun to mark the end of a day and the start of the next day. I'll stick with what the Bible says.

In over 70 places in the bible it is SPECIFICALLY related, the 7th day of the week is on 8,15,22,or 29 day of the month ONLY. NO PLACE contradicts that fact, & in some places it says the 15th is the 7th, or 8th is the 7th. The NEW MOON also is a monthly sabbath that can NEVER be a weekly sabbath. This whole lunar Sabbath doctrine can be easily disproved by reading Genesis 1. On what day was the very first Sabbath?

I have a question actually three. If The most high did not create the moon until day 4 and rested 3 days later, how do you establish the new moon as the timetable for the weekly sabbath?
2. How do you count to pentecost if 7 consecutive sabbath will NEVER equal 49 days on a lunar system?
3. How can you obey the 4th commandment to work 6 days, then rest 1 on a lunar model that would leave more than 6 days between sabbaths going into a new month, or less if the new moon is a sabbath as well?

As a matter of fact there are at least two totally DIFFERENT calendars being spoken of in Enoch, one solar and one a combo. It is untrustworthy. THE SAME can be found in Jubilees. At one point it is speaking of a Lunar based calendar, especially for the beginning of months, but someone has screwed the calendar in that book up as well. ... imo.

I think the calendar year and days of the week are as such today because that is the way God wanted it to be. True seventh day of the week sabbath believers do not rest on Saturday, they rest on Friday night until Saturday night, which has nothing to do with the Roman calender or Saturn. We dishonor Saturn if anything, obeying the evening to evening calender of YHWH & also the 7th day of the week. We get our weekly calender from creation. Since creation it's been 6days work, 7th day rest.
There is no sign in heaven telling us when the week starts or ended. But creation tells us!

@hininga28 I would like to encourage you to study this topic some more. It is true that we all should worship God every day. But there is more to the Sabbath than worship. The 4th commandment explicitly states that, in addition to worship on the seventh day, NO WORK IS TO BE DONE, either. Further, the 4th commandment also clearly states that work IS to be done on the other six days. Furthermore, Jesus DID keep the Sabbath, as it so clearly states: "He went to the synagogue AS WAS HIS CUSTOM."
@4AngelsPublications - Actually, Jesus boldly and deliberately went against the Sabbath rituals. Certainly He acknowledged the Sabbath, as all do, however, Christians should not be debating and arguing amongst each other over trivial matters and leaving the poor examples that occur. If Christ wasn't the replacement for the rest, previously noted with the 4th commandment, then when the 10 commandments were noted in the NT they would have included the 4th commandment which it does not.

Interesting. One has to understand tho, that when God blessed the Sabbath day, the 7th day of the week, there was no mention of any moon anything. It was not dependent on the moon. In the 4th commandment also, there is no mention of needing the moon. Its put simply, the seventh day, the day now called Saturday. @bhagyaraj480 There is a very simple answer to your question about the gaps. These are new moons, a third class of day, not a work day, and not a sabbath. The last new moon (dark) is the first of the biblical month. Then six working days, then the first sabbath, on the 8th of the month. Look up, you will see a first quarter moon. Six more working days, then a sabbath rest, on the 15th, look up, you will see a full moon!
@bhagyaraj480 then 2 more "weekly" cycles, and you are ready for another new moon, (first of the next month) or 2 new moon days( 30th of month and 1st of next month). All sabbaths fall on either the 8th, 15th, 22nd, or 29th, and never on any other day. Never. There are numerous examples of this in scripture. Followers of old kept sabbaths this way, and we will in future also. See Isaiah 66
If the beginning of a week and month both fall on a new moon, then how do you account for the first week of creation? God didn't make the moon until the fourth day of the seven day week.
That is a good question, but it really is immaterial. God created "age" into all of His creation. The birds were not created as fertilized eggs; the trees were not buried seeds; Adam was not an embryo, zygote or even a new born. Just as the sun is precisely positioned in relation to the earth, so was the moon. It didn't need new moon day - God placed it right where it needed to be to mark all future time. :)
It is true that God created the world with age, but this doesn't help the position of those who hold to the lunar Sabbath.
If the first day of the month is also the first day of the week, then we should expect to find this in the first week of creation; but we don't. God marks the Sabbath at the seventh day from which he began creating, not from the moon. The Sabbath is based on God's commandment, not the position of the moon. It memorializes creation, not the moon!

Thanks for responding, I am glad it ended on a good place for both of us. I will try to find the book online. I have no problem looking at other's beliefs as I believe truth will stand when all else will fall,and so I choose to actively search out all things, the best I can because 'beliefs' have no real value unless they are supported by Truth. It may interest you that the book is NOT promoting the lunar Sabbath (as I believe). Like you, he also believed in Sat. as the Sabbath. It was written for SDA pastors in 1944. Nevertheless his documentation is impressive. I don't understand how he could still believe in Sat. with all he knew, but you will find it informative & no contradiction to your own belief.

@Proph&Script PT 2: I would still like to encourage you to check out "Sunday in Roman Paganism". Yes, the pagans had a pantheon of MANY gods - but not all were known as planetary gods. Of those, there were only 7 & each was assigned an hr.in the day. The planetary god who fell on the first hour was god of that day. Thus, the Romans did not have a specific "day" of worship as we know it. If you needed help from a planetary god, you'd pray to him on his day.

I agree with you regarding the flipping of that image. I would not have done so myself. However, the fact remains that the original Sat. did not somehow morph into the modern Sun. If you'll look at the book I referenced, you'll discover documentation for Sat. originally being the first day of the week & the modern week not being standardized with Sun. as the first day of the week until the Council of Nicea in the 4th cent. AD.

When I asked why, the answer was because the planetary gods are not shown in the order of the days of the week, but rather in the order as the ancients believed them positioned from the earth. The video was too short to provide an explanation to viewers of how the pagans assigned the 1st hour of the 1st day of the week to Saturn.

Saturn was believed furthest from the earth. The 2nd hr. of the day was assigned to the next god, & so forth. The last hr. of 1st day was given to Mars making the 1st hr. of the 2nd day, the day belonging to the Sun from which we get Sunday.
The planetary week originally began on Sat. and ended on Fri. I encourage you to keep studying. The modern planetary week was not standardized until the Council of Nicea in the 4th century.

The 7th day Sabbath is a commandment of the Most High. Pagan names were eventually given to the different days of the week. Saturn, the pagan god of time, was celebrated in a festival called Saturnalia from December 17 - 24 leading to the celebration of birthdays of pagan sun gods such as Mithra, Nimrod (Baal) and Tammuz on December 25 during which gift given was done! This whole lunar Sabbath doctrine can be easily disproved by reading Genesis 1. On what day was the very first Sabbath?
Also, we know that Jesus kept the Sabbath perfectly, and yes, he kept it from the sundown of the 6th day, to the sundown of the 7th day, the same as the Jews do today. It is ludicrous to think that somehow in the last 2,000 years the Jews just "forgot" which day was the Sabbath, and no one else caught that change either!!!

I have a question actually three. If The most high did not create the moon until day 4 and rested 3 days later, how do you establish the new moon as the timetable for the weekly sabbath?
2. How do you count to pentecost if 7 consecutive sabbath will NEVER equal 49 days on a lunar system?
3. How can you obey the 4th commandment to work 6 days, then rest 1 on a lunar model that would leave more than 6 days between sabbaths going into a new month, or less if the new moon is a sabbath as well?

As a matter of fact there are at least two totally DIFFERENT calendars being spoken of in Enoch, one solar and one a combo. It is untrustworthy. THE SAME can be found in Jubilees. At one point it is speaking of a Lunar based calendar, especially for the beginning of months, but someone has screwed the calendar in that book up as well. ... imo.

True seventh day of the week sabbath believers do not rest on Saturday, they rest on Friday night until Saturday night, which has nothing to do with the Roman calender or Saturn. We dishonor Saturn if anything, obeying the evening to evening calender of YHWH & also the 7th day of the week. We get our weekly calender from creation. Since creation it's been 6days work, 7th day rest.
There is no sign in heaven telling us when the week starts or ended. But creation tells us!

@hininga28 I would like to encourage you to study this topic some more. It is true that we all should worship God every day. But there is more to the Sabbath than worship. The 4th commandment explicitly states that, in addition to worship on the seventh day, NO WORK IS TO BE DONE, either. Further, the 4th commandment also clearly states that work IS to be done on the other six days. Furthermore, Jesus DID keep the Sabbath, as it so clearly states: "He went to the synagogue AS WAS HIS CUSTOM."

Certainly He acknowledged the Sabbath, as all do, however, Christians should not be debating and arguing amongst each other over trivial matters and leaving the poor examples that occur. If Christ wasn't the replacement for the rest, previously noted with the 4th commandment, then when the 10 commandments were noted in the NT they would have included the 4th commandment which it does not.

I have been keeping the Lunar based Sabbath for over 2 years now.
The number of people coming to the truth has been astounding. Once you start keeping the Lunar Sabbath you start understanding the signs of Heaven.

@10Moshiach - I have been keeping the Lunar Sabbath for about 5 years and, amazingly, everything comes into order even though you're going against the grain of the entire world system! It's WONDERFUL!
I'm so pleased to see so many coming to this knowledge! Halleluyah! (You know, the witches have always done their sabbats according to the moon. Funny how the dark ones retain certain knowledge that is not retained by His people.) Thankful for the RESTORATION in this hour!

Without referring to Word of God in the Holy Bible, you will be sucked into this lies, thats why it essential for man to live no just bread alone but by evey word that comes from the mouth of God, In Exodus, for the record God writes the commandment for us, n it clearly talks about Sabbath. Your sincerity shines in your comments, but your references to the calendar in scripture reveals a lack of knowledge of the facts of history. Please, brother, keep studying this. When scripture gives dates, such as the 10th day of the 7th month, it was not referring to July 10! The calendars have been changed; the weekly cycle has been changed! THAT is what this video is saying. PLEASE keep studying.

Well I get what you mean mate, in Isaiah 66.24 simply referring moon to a month, and sabbath as the day of worship, thats all it has nothing to do with lunar and all that crap. muslims practice to look at the moon and it becomes their guide. Some Kronos and Saturn decide to that its their day, so thats their problem. Well i know some nasty shit people born on my birthday, but i still enjoy my birthday coz its mine.

@4AngelsPublications Also i think if someone change the week cycle well thats their story, if let say today is Monday was actually Saturday back then, well i dont know mate, but when i see the 7th day of the week, thats Sabbath Day, for example Sabbath in Asia and at the same time its actually Friday in America, n when people in America celebrates Sabbath on Saturday, its Sunday for people in Asia, so when the Sabbath comes to you, you observe, simple as that.. So i am not wrong in my worship.

Gods true calendar is revealed by nature. The natural turning points of the solstices and Equinoxes are the natural holidays...holy-days. This is revealed in the Aquarian Calendar. youtube. The Age of Aquarius is the future, the Age of Pisces is the past. The true calendar starts on the Solstice..and the holiday at that time was Saturnalia.

Interesting. One has to understand tho, that when God blessed the Sabbath day, the 7th day of the week, there was no mention of any moon anything. It was not dependent on the moon. In the 4th commandment also, there is no mention of needing the moon. Its put simply, the seventh day, the day now called Saturday. The moon had no effect on the Sabbath at creation, and still does not now.
About Saturday, we should ask, what came first? Saturday? Or, the Sabbath?

well i started keeping lunar sabbath around 4 months ago now.I LOVE IT! On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit EVERY MONTH.
If you have tree of Life in ur Garden NOW, you can Happily keep New Moon/Month Holy.
We know that Sabbath existed before 10 commandments Exo 16:22

The calendar that is used for keeping Sabbath by the majority is of pagan origin. Each day (name) of the week is of pagan origin. You trust a calendar in which every day of the week is named in honor of the devil. You dishonor a calendar that is put in heaven by God Almighty. The moon marks the passing of each day.

The first quarter moon marks the first Sabbath of the lunar month. I pray and hope that you experience the joy of keeping true Sabbath by God's Calendar. You can trust what God has put in heaven. brother, I have read the theory about Lunar Sabbath and I believed it too...
do you want me to read this from Hosea 2? I will stop all her celebrations: her yearly festivals, her New Moons, her Sabbath days—all her appointed feasts.
Adam and Eve have no yearly celebrations or festivals, nor their children do... they are the shadows of the christ.... and they were nailed to the cross...
Sabbath is different from feasts, it was establish at the creation by God on this earth...

Feasts were not done away with on the cross. They continue to this day.

after the ressurrection, Jesus stayed with them for 40 days Acts 1:3-5....
after 50 days from the feast of unleaven bread, the pentecost day will come...
so after Jesus was ascended into Heaven, disciples went on praying continuously to receive Holy Spirit....[look acts 1:12-14]
and with in a few days after they started praying, they received Holy spirit on the day of Pentecost...

@bhagyaraj480 There is a very simple answer to your question about the gaps. These are new moons, a third class of day, not a work day, and not a sabbath. The last new moon (dark) is the first of the biblical month. Then six working days, then the first sabbath, on the 8th of the month. Look up, you will see a first quarter moon. Six more working days, then a sabbath rest, on the 15th, look up, you will see a full moon!

@bhagyaraj480 then 2 more "weekly" cycles, and you are ready for another new moon, (first of the next month) or 2 new moon days( 30th of month and 1st of next month). All sabbaths fall on either the 8th, 15th, 22nd, or 29th, and never on any other day. Never. There are numerous examples of this in scripture. Followers of old kept sabbaths this way, and we will in future also. See Isaiah 66

If the beginning of a week and month both fall on a new moon, then how do you account for the first week of creation? God didn't make the moon until the fourth day of the seven day week.

That is a good question, but it really is immaterial. God created "age" into all of His creation. The birds were not created as fertilized eggs; the trees were not buried seeds; Adam was not an embryo, zygote or even a new born. Just as the sun is precisely positioned in relation to the earth, so was the moon. It didn't need new moon day - God placed it right where it needed to be to mark all future time. :)

It is true that God created the world with age, but this doesn't help the position of those who hold to the lunar Sabbath.
If the first day of the month is also the first day of the week, then we should expect to find this in the first week of creation; but we don't. God marks the Sabbath at the seventh day from which he began creating, not from the moon. The Sabbath is based on God's commandment, not the position of the moon. It memorializes creation, not the moon!
